There are a few poems that can be set to music and sung.

The second section entitled Just What I Feel relates the authors views on a variety of topics including, happiness, life, world, God, mind, worry, truth, and miscellaneous.

    Random Musings and Geetha Maala - Krishna M. Gutala

    1. HIM AND THOU

    Be humble before Him

    Thou shalt be dignified before others

    Love Him and all shall love thee.

    Have faith in Him ;

    Thou shalt command faith from all.

    Realize Him in thee –

    Thou art all Supreme.

    2. THE ONE LIGHT

    Behold the globe of the universe

    And the myriad pin-holes on it;

    The brightly shining Lamp is its Centre.

    Oh ye mind! Delude not thyself

    That those are a myriad lamps!

    It is the One Divine Light

    That is shining through those myriad outlets!

    3. BLISS INDEED

    Let not the world of environments

    Cow you down and

    Make a slave of thee.

    Oh ye! Ever aspire for

    Such a pleasure

    Which is beyond pleasure and pain,

    Such a happiness

    Which is above joy and sorrow, and

    Such a state of existence

    Which surpasses life and death –

    That is Bliss indeed!

    4. COMPASSION

    Scorn not those that be

    Less fortunate than thee

    In this world in wealth

    Or in matters of health.

    Have compassion for such folk –

    For, they bear a heavier yoke.

    God shall be kind to thee

    If kind thou to them be.

    5. LIFE

    Life is a beautiful canvas

    Painted by the Divine Brush;

    An exquisite pattern

    Set by the Heavenly Decorator;

    A lovely lyric

    Composed by the Celestial Poet;

    A melodious song

    Set to music by the

    Enchanting Flutist of Brindavan.

    Oh ye then, why complain of it?

    6. THOU MY POLESTAR

    Oh ye, Flutist of Brindavan!

    When with Thy Mercy I am blessed,

    What lack of happiness can there be!

    When Thy Music Divine fills my heart,

    For what other melodies should I long!

    Let Providence dispense what it pleaseth.

    Let sorrow and joy play hide and seek.

    Let a thousand tongues say what they fancy.

    In Thy thoughts ever, my Lord!

    I seek comfort and peace.

    From truth and righteousness, those who swerve not

    Tranquility and bliss shall leave them never.

    So sayeth Thy Song Celestial, I forget not.

    Righteousness is my path, and Thou my Polestar.

    Oh ye Flutist of Brindavan, lead me to Thee!

    7. PROPERLY PROPERLY

    There is nothing you wouldn’t get

    If you try properly;

    Only thing, you should try

    Properly properly.

    God will give all what you want

    If you pray properly

    Only thing, you should pray

    Properly properly.

    All the problems of thy life

    Thou can solve properly;

    Only thing, you should have

    Faith in God properly.

    All the peoples in this world

    Will love thee properly;

    Only thing, love YOU them

    Properly properly.

    Whatever you think or say,

    Whatever you do in life,

    Think or say or do it, BUT

    Properly properly.

    NB: This poem can be set to music, and sung as a song.

    An inspiring theme for children, students, even elders.

    8. THY GRACE DIVINE

    Me Lord! Let me be the flute

    In Thy Dexterous Hands

    Through which Thou Play

    Thy Music Divine.

    Let me be the brush

    In Thy Subtle Hands

    With which Thou Paint

    Thy Scenes Divine.

    Let me be the quill

    In Thy Poetic Hands

    With which Thou Write

    Thy Songs Divine.

    Let me be the bowl

    In Thy Graceful
