Love is…
Summer
I am strength

I am enough
Revived
Sun Burning bright
Drowning in warmth
Leaving its mark
Over my North
Body half naked
Red rubber bands
Covering parts
In water and sand
White fluffy tide
Coming up close
Gliding like birds
On this salty coast
Watery pellets
Poking my eyes
Flying up high
White butterflies
Jumping and leaping
Ballet performs
Leaping and jumping
Thighs feeling warm
Laughing and screaming and losing control,
Tossing and turning my watery soul
Coming for air I laugh on the sand,
Spring has arrived
I live once again.
Coincidence?
A Chance meeting with, your new fallen ex
Who lives, breathes, and walks, -- won’t cease to exist…
You knew what you’d see, if you saw my eyes
The truth in my gaze, remembering lies
You knew that I’d see, the love we once had
Still there in your heart, that now had gone bad.
But why then, do you, take chances like these
To visit my friends where you knew I’d be?
They hate what you’ve done, to their frail friend
Who isn’t quite well, and still on the mend
Did you come to brag? Are you full of hate?
That you’d punish me, in my weakest state?
Or….
Was this a ploy to see me again?
To get that last chance to hold my sweet hand?
Message From a Groom

It felt like a burden that pulled us apart
We parted as
