    PURPOSE

"The secret conversations you hold in the privacy of your own mind are shaping your destiny, little by little. With every thought that races through your mind, you are continually reinventing yourself and your future. Research indicates that the average person thinks approximately fifty thousand thoughts per day. This is either good or bad news because every thought moves you either toward your God-given potential or away from it. No thoughts are neutral."

    — Tommy Newberry (The 4:8 Principle)

We can change the physical nature of our brain through our thinking and choosing. Dr. Caroline Leaf (Switch On Your Brain)

Choosing life to the fullest is about waking up and thinking great, inviting Jesus into our day, and finding ourselves in His identity. Amazing repetitive thoughts are key to this process.

My passion in writing this compilation started with thinking about my own teenage thoughts and how they affected my journey. Which led me to ask myself, would my own teenagers and students that I mentor read a daily, short, thought- changing devotion?

What is the purpose of Choose Life to the Fullest?

After studying authors much wiser than myself, I found that when we wake up and think five great thoughts our brain starts changing. These five great thoughts super-charge our brain. The opposite is true when we wake up and think five defeating thoughts, we start the day behind.

We are not victim to our thoughts, we get to choose them. As Christians, when we invite Jesus into this process, life-change happens.

For as he thinks within himself, so he is. (Proverbs 23:7 NASB)
