    Dedication

    This book is dedicated to GOD because HE has given us HIS mercy. When I consider all that GOD has provided for us while we were still in darkness and the fact that HE has not judged us according to our sins my soul rejoices. Because GOD is merciful to us we take HIM for granted rather than thanking HIM for looking beyond our faults and loading us daily with HIS benefits. GOD’s mercy can be seen in every facet of our lives. There is one GOD and HE deserves to be worshiped. O magnify the LORD with me and let us exalt HIM forever!!! How great is our GOD who is full of compassion, which understands our weaknesses and pains and blesses us whether we are obedient or disobedient. HE reaches out to us daily with loving kindness. Bless the LORD for HIS mercy endures forever!!!

    Introduction

    Psalm 107

    ¹O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

    ² Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

    ³ And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

    ⁴ They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

    ⁵ Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

    ⁶ Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

    ⁷ And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

    ⁸ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    ⁹ For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

    ¹⁰ Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

    ¹¹ Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

    ¹² Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.

    ¹³ Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

    ¹⁴ He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

    ¹⁵ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    ¹⁶ For he hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.

    ¹⁷ Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

    ¹⁸ Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

    ¹⁹ Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses.

    ²⁰ He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

    ²¹ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    ²² And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

    ²³ They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

    ²⁴ These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

    ²⁵ For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

    ²⁶ They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

    ²⁷ They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit’s end.

    ²⁸ Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

    ²⁹ He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

    ³⁰ Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

    ³¹ Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

    ³² Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

    ³³ He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground;

    ³⁴ A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

    ³⁵ He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings.

    ³⁶ And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

    ³⁷ And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

    ³⁸ He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

    ³⁹ Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

    ⁴⁰ He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

    ⁴¹ Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock.

    ⁴² The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

    ⁴³ Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.

    No matter who you are and what you have done in this life, you experience GOD’s mercy daily because HE blesses the just as well as the unjust. GOD’s love for us surpasses our ability to comprehend its depth. It is my desire to share with you how mindful GOD is of you and how HE will extend HIS mercy upon you throughout your entire life.

    It is the responsibility of parents to teach their children about their CREATOR and SAVIOR. Any person who does not have a foundation in the Word of GOD will not accomplish the plan that GOD has for his/ her life. When parents fail to teach their children about GOD (ADONAI, JEHOVAH, YAHWEH), HE will create a pathway that will lead them to HIM.

    GOD created us to have a relationship with HIM. When HE breathed upon Adam and he became a living soul this indicated that we cannot exist without GOD. Everything that occurs in our lives has a relationship to GOD. During our existence on earth we will discover that we are nothing without HIM.

    GOD’s mercy is new every morning because we would not be able to live without it.

    The Bible says that the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men and that HE has chosen the foolish things to confound the wise. Many times we believe that we have received a blessing because of prayer, but in reality it was received because GOD is merciful. Many times our actions toward others create a hindrance to prayers being answered. Because GOD loves us HE will have mercy upon us and we receive what we do not deserve. I believe that we need to be more mindful of GOD’s mercy toward us because it will increase our love for HIM.

    When I do reflective thinking concerning my life, I can see how merciful GOD was toward me. I have made some foolish decisions that could have had fatal consequences, but GOD’s mercy gave me a way of escape. The scriptures contained in this book are not exhaustive on the subject of GOD’s mercy, but they will create a greater awareness in you as to how merciful GOD is toward us.

    Humility rejoices because of GOD’s mercy. May your spirit be revived in loving GOD more than anything or any person?

    Let us pray: ABBA FATHER, we humbly embrace YOUR Mercy Seat with praise, thanksgiving, and worship of YOU because of who YOU are and for the benefits that YOU load upon us daily. How great THOU art and how greatly YOU are to be praised!!! How excellent is THY name!!! As we embark upon embracing YOUR mercy in a more excellent way, enlighten the eyes of our understanding so that we can raise our praise toward YOU. Create in us a clean heart and renew in us a righteous spirit. Forgive us for failing to acknowledge YOUR mercy and grace toward us as we ought to do. Forgive us of every word, thought and deed that did not glorify YOU. Hide us in the secret place of THY tabernacle and lead us in the pathway of righteousness. We desire to live holy and we ask that YOU strengthen us through YOUR glorious power. Heal our unbelief in JESUS’ name. We magnify and exalt THEE for YOU are the CREATOR of all things and every power is subject to YOUR power. Illuminate our mind with the richness of THY Word so that we can be a praise of YOUR glory in the earth. We seek the peace of Jerusalem and that her enemies be scattered in JESUS’ name. Transform us by the renewing of our mind according to every Word that proceeds from YOUR mouth. We love and adore YOU because YOU first loved us. THOU art holy and clothed in righteousness!!! Continue to bless us according to YOUR tender mercies and loving kindness. In JESUS’ name, we pray. Amen.

    For HIS Name Sake

    Exodus 32:1-14

    ¹ And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

    ² And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

    ³ And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.

    ⁴ And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of
