About this ebook
People experience traumatic events in life that so often leave them broken and feeling unworthy, lonely, misunderstood, and even hopeless. This book was born out of some of my experiences and how I was able to find a sense of peace, self-love, and self-acceptance as I navigated through obstacles from my past. “Journey” provides spiritual anecdotes that will provide hope and a road map in helping you become an overcomer.

Dedications
This book is dedicated to the memory of my late mother, Loretta Palm. I am reminded of God’s love and grace daily when I think about the mother that I was blessed to have had. My mother was loving, compassionate, and altruistic. I learned so very much from that sweet, selfless angel who sacrificed everything for her children, parents, and siblings. She instilled a great since of responsibility in me and an infinite love for family and others. My mother was a woman of faith who taught me how to be a respectable, God-fearing woman. She also taught me how to give without expecting anything in return. To know her was to love her. Truly she was one in a trillion. If I were tasked with creating a model of a mother, I would replicate her.
I also dedicate this book to my late father, LeRoy Palm, who was brilliant, witty, obstinate, and somewhat complex. (I must admit, I inherited the latter two traits). I would be remiss if I did not also dedicate this book to Golden and Blanche Tillman,
