About this ebook

Tyler Anderson dropped out of high school, but it seemed his life was soaring: He had his own car and was preaching all over the place.
Later, he went to a mortuary science school in Decatur, Georgia, and married his beautiful fiancée. He was in love with business—and it wasn’t long before he was operating his own insurance and investment agency in Tallahassee, Florida.
But getting hooked on success had its drawbacks: He began falsifying policies, making up names, social security numbers, and profiles. The piles of money began to multiply.
He thought he had gotten away with everything, but then he was called to a church in St. Petersburg, Florida, hundreds of miles away. Little did he know that God was about to use the mess he had made as the building blocks of a glorious ministry.
Join the author as he shares how his faith and optimism paved the way for him to live a wonderful, godly life in You Have What It Takes.

    Dedication

            The day is past and gone,

               The evening shades appear;

               O may we all remember well

               The night of death is near.

            We lay our garments by,

               Upon our beds to rest;

               So death will soon disrobe us all

               Of what we’ve here possessed.

    Absent from the body, present with the Lord.

    Elder Dr. Abner Jackson Sr. 6-5-29~8-5-14

    Chapter 1

    THERE’S ANOTHER

    SIDE TO THIS

    Balance-There’s another side to this,....

    Proverbs 11:1

    Image2.jpg

    A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight. Proverbs 11:1 KJV The word of God reveals how vital it is for us to give emphasis to the many different complexions of our existence. It is possible to focus so much on our divinity until we leave undeveloped our humanity. We are admonished to give oversight to our entire being. This prevents us from becoming consecrated without character.

    The book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV gives us a glimpse of the boundaries established by God for the believers to create a sense of balance in our lives.

    I want to navigate through my personal narrative to expose the need for both spiritual devotion and personal development, If you’ve never seen the marriage of anointing and affliction you’re certain to experience a picture of it now. I learned early in my life that being anointed will not stop you from becoming arrogant and being fearless in your faith will not prevent you from becoming fraudulent.

    Allow my story to challenge you, convict you but ultimately convince you that no matter what you are facing, that you have what it takes to rise from the ashes and to bounce back better than you were before.

    Dreams come in a size too big so that we may grow into them. Josie Bisse
