About this ebook
I’m a wife, a mother of 1 daughter and 3 sons.
I have other books I have written and been published. I was inspired to write this poetry book because so many adults as well as teenagers express how they feel in songs or on talk shows. I felt I can convey they topics through poetry. Although I hear, feel and agree to disagree at time.
I still Love people therefore,
Dream to live
For living is your dream that’s my forté
Tonya Drummond
My name is Tonya Drummond. I was raised in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Haygood Reed and Patricia Ann Drummond, whom I love both daily and miss sincerely. To my brothers and sister, Roosevelt, Anthony, Samuel, Dwayne, Corey, and Rita my sister. My husband, Randolph, and Rodney Greene, who helped in our upbringing. As well as my children, Nefertiti, Quamel, Kyleek, and Kyle Anthony. I was inspired to write this book because of my mother, Mrs. Patricia Drummond, who said she would no longer be around for me to cry on her shoulder about medicine being prescribed. But she will be with me in spirit. So, America, I would like to dedicate this book to my mother, Mrs. Patricia Drummond, and my grandmother Fannie Mae Drummond by saying what they taught me, and that is “I refuse to rob Peter to pay Paul because honesty is the best policy.” I'm going to continue to live, for living is my dream.

I Love them hard
39296.pngNeighbor
Do you know how to treat your neighbors
Will start by looking in the mirror Can you look into that mirror
With a smile or is it with fear
Does your eyes flutter with so much tears
Or maybe you left your neighbor with a smile
If that is true
You will be bless after awhile
Everyday think about the things you do
because your neighbor might be
Just like you
39296.pngCrazy Love
But I love him,
That’s what she always say
Yet she manipulative, untrustworthy
deceitful and treat him cruel in every way.
Does She Know the meaning of Love
Like caring, honesty, and Loyalty,
Just to name a few
Yes her words sharp like a knife
It cuts like an apple split into two No matter
what, She just says But I Love him
And she doesn’t care what nobody says.
Then one day she shot him, his body cold
not Dead
.
Yes I love him, that’s what she began to say
And nobody should have paid attention
to what we had
It was just him, my crazy love, and the
raising up of my mom and Dad
So why didn’t he leave
that’s what we all had said
nobody
