About this ebook
May you crumble at the integrity of my words.
may you fall before its expansion of understanding.
may it gift you a sense of realization.
may it point your ways to righteousness.
may it teach you to consider and may it teach you to forgive.
I hope this teaches you to live.
I hope this teaches you to die.

Beauty Underneath
Looking out into the beauty of this world.
I question the purpose of its creation.
Why create something so immense to
take away the opportunity to enjoy it?
Like making a lock without a key.
Why make great heights when we could fall?
Why make great masses of water
when we could drown?
Why make physical beauty when it ages?
Perhaps the universe was made before us
as humans failed.
The steadfast cold sneaks in before nightfall arrives,
the heat of the day disappears without warning.
The sun still shines, the birds still sing and
the sky has not fallen.
It’s been far too long since I asked myself,
How can this world be dead when it looks so alive?
Looking out into the memories this life has given me
I question the purpose of their creation.
Why love when it ends?
Like building a house that would later collapse.
Why make truths when they just create lies?
Why make lies when they push away the truth? Why feel when we know death is never really far
away?
Perhaps the finale of our lives is what makes us accountable for everything that has been done in it.
Perhaps we pay off our mistakes and debts with death. Perhaps there is no way to pay off the debt
owed to myself
My feet still walk; my mouth still speaks, and my hands still move.
It’s been far too long since I have asked myself, How can I be dead when I feel so alive?
Return Policy
Let me calculate.
You gave him everything you could give.
So in return, what did he give you?
Pain, lies, heartache, disappointment.
Should I continue?
Don’t misread my words.
You are a volcanic force of nature.
But you are a shit businesswoman.
Flower Girl
Like a flower she had sworn an oath
to blossom into the person her heart desired to be, not the one this world creates.
Her heart lies out there as a presentation of beauty to blind eyes,
as a representation of her growth to the ones too busy to see.
As a representation of the difficulties her heart
had endured up to that point … and the ones it will in the future.
she’s a survival of the bad times and a
leader of the good ones.
Temporary Visit
Yesterday I turned around and she was there.
Unexpectedly she visited the person I was.
I wanted to feel her Presence a while longer.
I wish she had stayed.
Her temporary visit gets shorter with time.
When will she wander my streets again? When can her Presence light up my dark days?
Again
She is a feeling of great
satisfaction and contentment. (she is happiness)
When can she block those gray memories again?
She is allergic to stress and opposite to sadness.
When can she stitch up these bleeding scars?
When can she remind me what I wish I reminded myself?
No matter how many times she leaves,
I long for her arrival.
No matter how many times she comes
I long for a longer stay.
No matter which way I try, temporarily is
the only way she could be bought.
Yesterday I turned around and she was there.
Today I turned around … and she was gone
Toxic Choice
I’d ask what it is about him, but I can’t
ask a question when the answer rests in my knowledge.
He is a bucket for the tears he makes you shed.
Destroys you to rebuild you … and you love that rebuilding process.
He is a torch in the darkness when you are
a beacon of bright light.
He is the stairs when you have elevators
I am glad you found someone who distracts you from loving yourself.
I am glad you chose that lesson over this certainty.
Conscious Lies
The conscious betrayal of trust.
Those lies.
The ones known to be true.
The ones believed with defensiveness attack the outright truth.
They are lube to pain.
Those lies.
They reveal the truth under by their sounds of sorrow.
Forced to be believed because its obliviousness
causes an intolerable amount of pain.
Those lies burn bridges
that have not been built yet.
They run a track of devastation.
They leave a scar that becomes a companion.
If you can’t overcome it, welcome it.
Only way peace is maintained.
The tables could have turned the opposite way.
We could have stood on the other side of the line.
All this devastation and adaptation,
is it worth it?
Is it worth one conscious lie?
Fragments of Beauty
Beauty is in the perspective of the observer.
Find things to love in everything you hate.
Things to hate in everything you love.
Beauty is in the heart of the broken.
Find the ripest fruit among all the rotten ones.
Find one beautiful flower among all the dead ones.
Little fragments of beauty don’t overweigh
the Infinite amount of ugliness.
Unless you want them to.
Reasonable rules were never written.
So, they mustn’t be followed.
Life has never been fair.
Means neither of us has to be.
Deciphered Decisions
"Let them do what they will.
Let them buy you a house.
Let them find love for you.
Let them try to find what’s best
