How To Survive The Madhouse - The Secret Madman
rule no.1
AVOID THE MADHOUSE AT ALL COSTS

Line LineStay away from those fucking hospitals.
charlie
Rule no.1: Firstly, avoid the madhouse at all costs. Being stuck in the madhouse is as much fun as being crucified by the Romans. Such places only tend to worsen your predicament and cost you valuable time you could dedicate to activities you love, like for instance, porn surfing and gambling. If you somehow believe that a period in a mental hospital will be beneficial to you, think again. Any symptoms of what others term ‘mental illness’ will only be amplified by the environment of suspicion, continual subjection to assessment, and the expected compliance to your care and treatment (or ‘careless mistreatment’, as it should be known).
We all see the world at least slightly differently to one another, but a natural period of sadness can be pathologised as clinical depression and eccentricity and over-enthusiasm diagnosed as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Don’t believe that you’re mad simply because others tell you so. The job of psychiatrists and related mental health professionals is to seek insanity within us all, consequently increasing their wages through medical assessments and aiding Big Pharma in becoming evermore powerful.
You are fine. You may be experiencing a hard time, but recognise your uniqueness. Know that you possess a singular perspective of reality that others can only guess at and may never understand. You are fine. Whatever unfortunate circumstances that may have befallen you can be overcome without psychiatric intervention. Self belief is paramount and within the pages of this brief book, I will guide you to developing into the self-possessed and capable person you want to be, medication free and hopefully at your happiest.
