Considered one of the most prolific writers working in modern fiction, USA Today bestselling writer Dean Wesley Smith published far more than a hundred novels in forty years, and hundreds of short stories across many genres. I flat hated it when someone played with scared money.
Scared money is when a player can’t afford to be betting what he has in front of him, but for some reason he or she feels they need to play.
You tended to see scared money players at times in Las Vegas. I hated it every time I did.
I was in what had been a really nice, easy-going five-ten no limit game in the poker room at the MGM Grand. I liked the room with the brown cloth and leather furnishings, the excess of plants, and high ceilings. The casino was just far enough away to keep the sound down
