In order to play sandlot football you need a field. It should be at least about 40 yards long and 20 yards wide. It should be mowed.
A field that’s about half a city block will work. You can play in somebody’s back yard for starters, but that usually isn’t big enough.
The field should be flat. I would discourage using a street as an end zone. A car could hit you.
A park is a good place to play.
You can buy small orange cones to mark the end zones—one in each back corner of the end zone, right and
