Everyone who walks past me has a smirk on their face, but they avoid my eyes. My knees shake. My hands tremble. It’s snowing outside, but my skin prickles with cold sweats. I’ve never known the outside of Mr Haller’s office to be so damn busy. You’d swear it was a high school corridor after the bell rang.
