Jacob Gallegos

Jacob Gallegos is a unique minded individual, of fire and against the new cold world. Born in Italy, between the arms of the snowy Alps and under the sheets of fog from the lonely flatlands, with a passion for poetry and a proud author of a new form of detailed and defined, dark type of poetry. After serving in the military, Jacob grew more and more into the idea of releasing a collection of his very own and personal works of writing. He is passionate about his scriptures and how He believes in a new form of poetry. A form that does not hide sexuality and a type that does not fear Going against current. His poetry comes from the heart, from a story, from pain and suffering, From sadness and tears, from anger and despair. His poetry and words have penetrated many readers and his “mode d'être” is revolutionary. The book you are holding is a collection of handpicked poems, created and written by Jacob himself. Jacob defines this as the appetizer, just the beginning of an intense series of books, that will all reconnect, To portray a bigger and final work of art. Please, cøme and look, Inside my Ugly Mind.

Pages are a boring concept in my opinion. This is much more than a simple book, it is unique, like YOU. To use pg. at the bottom of every page would be to put it onto the same level as anything else. It would mean to make it generic and normal but normal is not what this book was meant to be. An Axon is a nerve fiber. It is a long, slender projection of a nerve cell. The function of the Axon is to transmit information to different neurons, muscles, and glands in our brain.

Just like every page communicates a memory, a feeling and an experience these are all AXONS leading the words from Inside my Ugly mind into your beautiful and precious one.

    Within this book are questions.

These questions are for YOU and you only.

This is a chance to write down your answers and reasons

Of your suffering, So that you can finally begin the difficult process

    Of slowly Letting go.

Pour your words of pain into this book and leave them here to die

So that you can continue to live.

Even though I came from nothing

I still believe I am someone.

Even though I don’t have nothing

I am still hungry for everything.

Even though around me there is nothing,

    I still look for something.

    something I’ve wanted
