The Aerie: Finding Courage To Be Yourself
()
About this ebook
When Hunter was an eaglet egg, he fell out of the aerie when a terrible storm came to the mountain forest. When the storm was over, his eagle parents discovered that one of their two eggs was missing. They searched for it but could not find it. So, they went back to their aerie and raised their one eaglet. Their missing eaglet egg was found by a little girl and her family, while on a short vacation to the mountains forest. The little girl took the eaglet's egg to their farm and placed it into the nest of a hen named Betty Hen with her four other eggs. It became his home, but it was not the place nature had intended for him.
Hunter Eagle desired to know if chickens could fly. He had seen himself a chicken his whole life but felt as if he did not belong in the barnyard. His family and friends in the barnyard repeatedly told him that chickens can't fly. He was having an identity crisis. It was only when he saw that bird flying in the sky did he question the truth. He believed the bird in the sky had the answers to discovering who he truly could be. In his search, he discovers the answers to his questions as well as discovering his true self.
Children everywhere are excited to read and be a part of Hunter Eagle's adventure. Finding the courage to be yourself does not come without its struggles. Be prepared, and maybe you will see yourself in one of Hunter's friends in "The Aerie". Happy Reading!
