      Ashley kept her gaze facing forward as she slowly leaned to the side towards her friend.

      Well…, they got that casting right, she said and put a hand in front of her mouth to hold in the laughter that threatened to burst out.

      Erica shook her head, but the smile remained on her face. She turned her attention back to the man standing on the stage at the front of the small theatre. He was still running through the list of names to tell people which parts they would be taking in the play. The local amateur dramatics society was strictly for non-professionals, but most people involved took it seriously. It was good fun too and a way to put some entertainment on for the local community.
