Linda and Kevin have a six-year marriage that’s seen better days. Needing to mend things, Linda tries to arrange a romantic dinner but finds every restaurant in town full to capacity. She calls their longtime friend who happens to be a chef and asks for help. He eagerly agrees.

Linda tilted her head and looked at Kevin, the man she’d been married to for over six years. They’d had a rocky last year. He’d been spending more time at the office and she’d withdrawn as a result. At one time, he’d lavished her with gifts on holidays and they’d been touted as the perfect couple. She’d spent this past New Years in a bar. She had no idea where he’d spent it.
