Dana sighed as she punched in the data onto her spreadsheet. She knew she was lucky to be earning a living doing what she loved. For as long as she could remember she had loved taking pictures. Everything made sense when seen through the eye of a camera. It was easy to cherish the beauty in everyday objects when you could isolate them and view them over and over again. She could capture and enjoy the perfect moment right before a rose reached its full bloom. She sighed again.

She was earning a living taking pictures, but most of the work she did now was for birthday parties and sometimes local events. If she stayed on this path, she could eventually have a quite lucrative career as a wedding photographer. She wasn’t sure if that’s what she wanted. It was getting harder and harder to feign interest in other people’s romantic futures. She had never
