OVERVIEW
Ask, by Ryan Levesque, details the Ask Formula, including the Survey Funnel Formula, that teaches businesses the best way to connect with current and potential customers by cleverly asking them what they want and creating products and marketing to suit those needs. These formulas are repeatable and may provide predictable outcomes, but it is also dynamic, flexible, and evolves with its implementation for each type of business and market.
The foundation of the Ask Formula is comprised of four types of surveys, their implementation, and the analysis drawn from them: the Deep Dive survey, the Micro-Commitment Bucket survey, the Do You Hate Me survey, and the Pivot survey. Each of these surveys comes into play at different points in the product creation and marketing process. Each serves a specific purpose that helps make customers’ needs clearer and actionable for the business.
These surveys enable businesses to discern what their customers want because, more often than not, customers do not know what they want in the first place. Once businesses know their customers and what they need, they can create the best product or service that helps their customers and develop the optimal marketing language to put those products in front of the customers who need them.
