Excerpt from Ghost: An Apparition of Love [Part I]

He yanked at my arms and grabbed me around my waist.  He called out my name and yelled in my face. 

This isn’t how it’s supposed to be. You are not supposed to bring me here and then leave me! 

His words became a verbal prayer because he saw my spirit leaving me. 

Dear God, if you are listening please hear my prayer.  I’d give up every eternity for this moment in time.  Save this woman who has loved me so unconditionally because she is willing to die for me.  Allow her life to go on so other humans can see that true love causes the Universe to conspire and manifest for thee.  You permitted her to pull me from another time and place, to prove true love is the ultimate force and always creates.  So, at this very moment I beg of you, allow me to return her love by taking her place.       

He actually began to cry as he held me close.  He kissed my lips one last time.  As the sun set and darkness fell, time swirled all around the place and we both passed through one reality after another.  That night we laid in each other’s arms, still, peaceful, and surrendered to God’s Will.  At the moment we both surrendered, our love was no longer bound to the earthly realm.  We both would willingly pass from this life to the next.  We kissed each other and held each other while we still could.  With our bodies still intertwined, I felt his heartbeat and he felt mine.  Our breathing became synchronized,
