Barbara unexpectedly began writing Christian poetry in 2000, a little over two years after surrendering her whole life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Her very first poem, "The Night I Gave My Life to Jesus", is her actual testimony of that surrender, poured out to her by the Holy Spirit during her lunch break at work one day. This special gift has been flowing like a river from her ever since that special day. These poems and prophecies frequently flow whenever someone is going through a difficult circumstance and need encouragement from the Lord. Sometimes Barbara writes them to express her deep love for her Savior in a spirit of worship to her Lord.

FOREWORD

IF YOU DIED TONIGHT, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU WOULD GO?

TO HEAVEN WITH GOD, OR INTO THE BURNING FIRE OF HELL

EITHER PLACE WILL BE FOREVER!

YOU CAN BE SURE THAT HEAVEN WILL BE YOUR HOME IF YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Admit you are a sinner (Romans 3:10).

2. Be willing to turn away from your sin (Acts 17:30).

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried and rose from the dead (Romans 9:10).

4. Through prayer, invite Jesus into your life to become your personal savior (Romans 10:13).

Just pray the following prayer:

Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood and died for my sins, and arose again on the third day. I am willing to turn away from my sins. I invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal savior. Amen.

CHAPTER 1

A NEW WALK IN LIFE WITH THE LORD

THE NIGHT I GAVE MY LIFE TO JESUS

Two years ago, on a dark New Year's Eve,

this miserable life I wanted to leave,

for I thought surely hell was my plight,

but then, suddenly, I saw the light.

Then I heard a mighty voice say,

"My daughter, I will get your attention this day!

All your life has been a big race

but now, My child is a time for grace.

Turn away from that winding road to destruction,

and choose the path to a beautiful re-construction.

Surrender over all the misery and strife,

come to Me, and I will give you abundant life

Unto Me, My child, all your burdens release,

and I your God will give you peace.

Get down on your knees and repent of your sin,

for I have been waiting so long, where have you been?

Don't you feel all My love upon you abounding?

For My mercy and grace are you all surrounding.

Get in there and study My Word,

I will give you a two-edged sword.

For you, with My Holy Spirit will I fill,

so the mountains then will be only a hill."

So I did what my Heavenly Father told me that day,

and now, that old nasty life has all passed away.

Then, I heard the angels singing,

and from afar off, I saw a dove a winging.

So now from my heart His words do roar,

and like a mighty eagle in flight do I soar.

And I give our God and our Jesus all the glory,

for now, all my life is a brand new story.

And through this testimony, dear Lord, I pray,

that someone else might be able to live this way.

And unto You, oh Lord, do I give all my love,

and I thank You for all Your awesome love.

And let us always sing Your praise,

for the remainder of all our days.

And I praise You and thank You, dear Heavenly Father, for helping me write this loving testimony to You, in the name of Your precious son, Jesus, Amen.

REUNITE THE FAMILY

"My daughter, My precious daughter, I love you so much, you will never know how much you mean to Me. With you, I am well pleased, for your obedience to Me, for the compassion and longsuffering that you have had for My children. Soon, My child, you will see your blessings manifesting before your very eyes. Just keep seeking My strength, courage, wisdom, knowledge, and My will for your life and watch Me move for you. I am counting on you, My daughter, to help Me pull this family together that I have blessed you with.  For many years, they have now drifted apart, and gone their own way, but now in these final days, it is time to set aside all the bitterness, anger, and personal feelings toward each other, and fill their hearts and lives with forgiveness and love. And through Me, your Lord God Almighty, it all can be done, and will be done. It is time for families to be the way I had intended them to be, loving, forgiving, and patient with each other. I desire that the bonds be strong between all the children and that they put aside their own feelings and seek Me in all things. My daughter, I have seen the changes in your heart toward your granddaughter, Sandy, and her heart is changing toward you too. I, your Heavenly Father, am making those changes in both of you, and I am well pleased that you both are accepting those changes. You need each other, and I have put you in close proximity to help each

other, and to love each other. Through your knowledge and experience, you can help her and her family. With her youth, strength, new outlook on life, she will be strong for you and is willing to help you. Understand, My child that I have been working on her too. Now, just continue to follow Me, listen to Me, open your heart and mind to My new ways, and to My word, and watch Me move for you in your life. Time is short, and there are a lot of My children out there who need to hear testimonies for Me in order for them to find Me too. So, now, My child, go plant the seeds for your Heavenly Father, so one day, you too can see the harvest with Me of the souls you touch with your testimonies. And don't forget, Edna, I do love you dearly."

TAKE MY HAND

"My daughter, Edna, My precious child, I love you very much, and I want you to know that I am right there with you, more than you will ever know. I have been by your side a long time, now, and even though in the darkness of night, you think that I don't care, I am listening to your every thought and prayer. I know the loss you feel from My calling Naomi home, but rest assured that she is watching you from above and wants you to know how much she appreciates all you have done for her, and how much she loves you still. Only the body is dead, the spirit lives on in a beautiful place now, and she is among the angels and My saints, rejoicing in the love and peace she feels here with Me, the Lord your God. And don't fret or worry, My child, about the words that I am calling you to say, for I, will give them to you when the time comes, and you will be amazed at how My Holy Spirit leads you and teaches you My ways. For this is a new walk for you, My daughter, and sometimes, I know that the unknown paths place fear in your heart, but it will be OK, for I the Lord, your God, am with you and will never leave you  nor forsake you. I know that you didn't understand the drastic changes you saw in your daughter for a long time, but
