North Platte, Nebraska - August 1875

Heat suffused her skin as Sam’s warm palm slipped along her bare waist to her breast. He cupped the soft weight in his hand while his thumb and forefinger aroused her nipple, hardening the nub into pure sensation.

Sam, Nell exhaled his name. Her back curved, and she pressed herself close to his hard naked length.

Sam shifted from her side, taking his weight onto his arms. Slowly, he lowered his head to take her earlobe in his mouth.

His soft chuckle near her temple sent chills of anticipation down her spine.

Then paying homage to her neck, he kissed, licked, and nipped down its delicate arch. His mouth paused its descent, and his tongue paid tribute to both breasts, stimulating the sensitive tips again before lowering his body to hers. His weight pressed her into the thin mattress as he settled his hips fully between her thighs.

She raised her knees wide in anticipation. Yes, Nell moaned. She ran her hands up his broad back and arched her neck to give him better access to her throat.

His lips kissed her shoulder, then followed the rapid pulse along her neck to her ear. Don’t leave me, his voice, low and filled with sorrow, pierced her passion.

What? Her legs twined around his and urged him to enter her, fill her as he had in Beaumont. Ignoring his words. I need you.
