Thunderheartlion is the final name in the search for the right pen name that truly encompasses my full energy and synergy capability. When I started writing in 1991, I went by Joei then by 1993 that changed to Outkastpoet, 00Abstrcat, then Mistic Thunder if you were on Black Planet and finally

sometime in 2002 while watching the care bears, I was thinking about how much I can relate to Braveheartlion so I dropped Mistic and Brave becoming

THUNDERHEARTLION.

I’m truly the product of my biological and extended family. My childhood was great, I was loved, liked, and cared for but I struggled with people making fun of me for being too dark skin and stuttering to name a few. So, a lot of my thoughts and feelings I kept inside as my way of hiding away from the masses. Now those who truly knew me heard me speak. And in this book, you will hear my voice and maybe a familiar voice.

Joseph W. Fuller IV, was born in Orangeburg, SC. He comes from a family of educators, thinkers, doers, craftsmen, and preachers. He is a retired United States Navy Gas Turbine Systems Electrician Chief Petty Officer of 24 years, that completed eight deployments visiting 40 countries over 6 continents. His education is of the Neighborhood, Felton Laboratory School, Marshall

Elementary, Bellville Middle School, and Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School all in Orangeburg, SC, US Navy Training, Central Texas Community College, Tidewater Community College, Villanova University, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the African Methodist Episcopal Church, and the world.
