The Lighthouse - Farrell J. Curry
Life’s Journey
Life is a journey that we take
based on choices that we make.
Through the woods of life,
we go down the paths
that we are shown.
Some choose the easy way
that is clearly seen,
but few choose the way
that has to be walked by faith
and not by sight alone.
Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.
(Psalms 119:105)
You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; At your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
(Psalms 16:11)
For we walk by faith, not by sight.
(2 Corinthians 5:7)

(Luke 15:13)
But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.
(Luke 15:14)
And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
(Luke 15:20)
Back Home
I found myself in a wilderness one day,
wandering far from home.
How I got there, I do not know.
Maybe one small step at a time,
away from the way that was known.
I could not see that my feet were
leaving a path that was meant for me.
One that was so plain and so easy to see.
My heart longed for home, a place where I belonged.
I called out to my Savior, and He answered me.
He led me back to the path that I needed to be on.
As we walked together, side by side,
I heard many voices in the distance, the sounds of a choir,
exalting His precious Holy name.
Then, a tall steeple came into view,
one that reached way up to the sky.
It was
