#1 I felt like a fraud my entire life. I worked super hard to be perceived as cool, but none of it worked. I was always wondering why I was this person in this body with this family at this time. I was an adolescent girl caught in an existential crisis.

#2 I had a sense of peace come over me while I was mediation. I felt at home for the first time. I had detoured into fear and forgot about my encounter with love, but I eventually remembered my existential philosophies and returned to them.

#3 The Map is a guide to help you navigate through your fear and find happiness. It will teach you that life doesn’t have to be tough, that you don’t need to feel alone, and that miracles are your birthright.

#4 The key principles of the Course are identified in this chapter. They are: fear is an illusion, and a shift in perception is a miracle. I’ll begin by taking you back in time to the state of mind you were born with, which is called love.

    #1

I felt like a fraud my entire life. I worked super hard to be perceived as cool, but none of it worked. I was always wondering why I was this person in this body with this family at this time. I was an adolescent girl caught in an existential crisis.

    #2

I had a sense of peace come over me while I was mediation. I felt at home for the first time. I had detoured into fear and forgot about my encounter with love, but I eventually remembered my existential philosophies and returned to them.

    #3

The Map is a guide to help you navigate through your fear and find happiness. It will teach you that life doesn’t have to be tough, that you don’t need to feel alone, and that miracles are your birthright.

    #4

The key principles of the Course are identified in this chapter. They are: fear is an illusion, and a shift in perception is a miracle. I’ll begin by taking you back in time to the state of mind you were born with, which is called love.

    #5

Love is the right-minded emotion of peace and joy. When we are in a state of love, we see everyone as equal and we feel at ease all the time. Love is where we all begin.

    #6

We are born into love, and then we quickly pick up the fear around us. We begin to deny love, and as the Course says, we forget to laugh. We take this tiny mad idea seriously, and we are separated from love.

    #7

The ego is the part of our brain that tries to separate us from the love we came from. It is totally confused and totally confusing, and it separates us from love by convincing us that love isn’t real. It leads us to attack others and ourselves.

    #8

The ego’s main job is to make sure we don’t change our minds about fear. It does this by imposing its projections onto us, which become our perceptions.
