A Self-Love Poetry Book
Mama’s Thoughts…
For anyone who needs something to hold on to—these poems provide understanding, acceptance, self-belief, gentle encouragement, and hope.
A place where you can feel truly at ease, embraced and cocooned with self-love. Read each poem daily for inspiration, or all in one but I would like this book to be your very own Home from Home.
Please cosy up with a warm drink, a fluffy blanket, sit with nature or whatever your comforts may be, turn the pages and have some time for yourself.
My Story…
I first started writing because I wanted to give my son a poem to thank him for a lovely Mother’s Day. I wanted to have something that reminded him of our relationship. From this, I noticed I could not stop writing poems, and I was drawn to topics of self-love and words of encouragement to help people to feel better. Poetry itself also became the nurturing space that I needed as a mother.
I merely want to provide a safe and judgement-free environment for anyone to reflect, feel understood and accepted by all their emotions. Hopefully, I can help provide you with the courage to express yourself as well. I aspire to be a friend that you can confide in and be your true self with.
Ultimately, I want to provide and help to encourage a positive difference to people’s mental health through the medium of poetry.
This is for my son, who directed me to this journey.
Please see the first-ever poem I ever wrote, just for you:
Viran’s Mum:
Being your Mother is like Heaven on Earth; I know you like your planets, so they are in each verse.
You saved my life, brightened with warmth and love, something only Venus is capable of.
With your infectious smile and indomitable will, I can see Saturn being proud of your skill.
To be happy and strong, and always feel like you belong, is what my dreams are for you as
