Gospel of the Wordsmith

Libraries, Newsstands, and Bookstores (physical and virtual) are places of worship for the wordsmith.

Legal pads and fountain pens, notepads and ballpoint pens, and note apps on your phone are the instruments used by the wordsmith.

Sitting in a coffee shop, walking the dog, standing in line, sitting at the bus stop walking around a shopping mall hiding (in a supply closet, a bathroom, or laundry room) are places where the gospel of the wordsmith is written.

Coffee, tea, or alcohol are the beverages where thoughts swim for the wordsmith.

Everything can be a distraction for the wordsmith, but nothing else can truly hold the rapt attention of the wordsmith.

With reverence, hope, resolve, and determination, we come to the altar of the blank page and write our offering.

We bask in the belief of our Muse and the exaltation that our words please the audience.

When we leave, we must have confidence that our form of prayer will reach far and wide so long as we share the Gospel of the Wordsmith.

Words can mean everything, words can say nothing

Words can educate, words can alienate

Words can open doors, words can close minds

Words can set us free, words can bog us down

Ultimately, words are all we have

You were the definition of Goddess when I first saw you

Skin the very color of beauty

Body the very definition of grace and awe

Radiant smile rivaled only by the Sun itself

I just saw you, and you are now the very definition of Stunning.

Your skin is simply luminous

Body still female perfection

Your smile even impressed the Sun
