when I Fall
the Wind will caress me
so I am not Lost
the trees will sing my name
until Winter
then their crooked arms

wings outstretched
elegant Kill
Sleek his face
hard his expression
his ways are sure
he knows no confession
Bold
he calls
yet reticent
the Tree
they speak for each other
in Song
and Flee
Desperate
the Tree
reaches out
and Cries
waiting
for years
and finally
Dies
Leaving
I could
