The Resurrection Revelation - Richard Helm

    Introduction

First of all, I would like to thank the many wonderful Christians who have contributed in the culmination of this book. In the course of writing this book, God revealed most of these things to me starting in 1974 and continuing through 1976. Different parts were subsequently added between 1977 and 1994.

During that time, I devoted over twenty years of study and research in the Holy Scriptures with much prayer and supplication to the Lord about these things. Through the years, He has shown me many more exciting things concerning the subject matter of my writings. Christ’s Crucifixion and Resurrection is a hallowed and sacred subject not to be handled lightly. My fervent and continual prayer is that these revealed concepts are truly from Almighty God and not just something I dreamed up.

I am not trying to claim that I know all about the Scriptures or anything like that. I don’t believe any one person has it all. As each man or woman of God records what God has revealed to them, he or she then shares it with others. The result is that we can all grasp a better understanding of God’s Word.

This book is a general commentary on the events in the Bible that transpired before, during and after the Death and Resurrection of the Son of God. I pray this book will give you a deeper and new dimension of the Bible.

I trust this book will both surprise and delight you. Its many revealed truths have Scriptural backing and are based on the Word of God as its authority.

Many men of God, down through the centuries, have tried to understand and explain this hallowed event. They have collectively compiled great amounts of knowledge on this subject. Many large volumes on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ have been published in addition to commentary after commentary.

As I devoured many of these commentaries and other Bible-based source documents - to gain a better understanding of the mighty Resurrection of Christ - I began to reap great amounts of confirmation on the subject.

However, God indicated to me that He wanted a small book, laid out in an easy-to-read manner. A book the old and new Christian alike would be able to grasp. A book with a clearer picture of the trials and triumphs of our wonderful Savior as He endured all of these tragic, yet victorious events for you and me.

In these last days, I believe the Blessed Holy Spirit is revealing tremendous amounts of Bible understanding and we are seeing deeper truths coming to the surface. More and more books are being written by God’s People revealing the wisdom the Holy Spirit is unveiling.

So, by the Spirit of the Living God, I shall attempt to put down on paper, all that God revealed to me. Remembering that all Praise and Glory goes to God Himself, for He alone is Worthy, my prayer is that these things will glorify the Church of the King of Kings.

THIS BOOK IS DEDICATED TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

    CHAPTER 1

THE FIRST ADAM AND THE LAST ADAM

In the beginning, (Genesis 1:1), when God Almighty brought about all creation in Heaven and in Earth, God the Father Spirit willed it to happen. Revelation 4:11

    (11) YOU ARE WORTHY, OUR LORD AND GOD, TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOR AND POWER, FOR YOU CREATED ALL THINGS, AND BY YOUR WILL THEY WERE CREATED AND HAVE THEIR BEING.

The Word of God Spirit spoke it into existence; we know Him as Jesus who created all things visible and invisible. Colossians 1:13—16

    (13) WHO HATH DELIVERED US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS, AND HATH TRANSLATED US INTO THE KINGDOM OF HIS DEAR SON:

    (14) IN WHOM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, EVEN THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS:

    (15) WHO IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD, THE FIRSTBORN OF EVERY CREATURE.

    (16) FOR BY HIM WERE ALL THINGS CREATED, THAT ARE IN HEAVEN, AND THAT ARE IN EARTH, VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE, WHETHER THEY BE THRONES, OR DOMINIONS, OR PRINCIPALITIES, OR POWERS: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM AND FOR HIM:

Then God the Holy Spirit carried out the spoken word of creation and brought it into existence. Job 26:13 & Psalms 104:30.

Job 26:13) BY HIS SPIRIT HE HATH GARNISHED THE HEAVENS; HIS HAND HATH FORMED THE CROOKED SERPENT. (KJV)

(PS 104:30) WHEN YOU SEND YOUR SPIRIT. THEY ARE CREATED AND YOU RENEW THE FACE OF THE EARTH. (NIV)

Thus God is three separate and distinct Spirit personalities in one Godhead, yet He is only one Omniscient God in purpose, thought and character. 1 John 5:7

    (7) FOR THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR RECORD IN HEAVEN, THE FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY GHOST: AND THESE THREE ARE ONE. (KJV)

Some people consider the Holy Spirit as just some kind of an instrument of God who carries out different tasks and is not a real live personality at all.

However, we must be very careful never to refer to the cherished Holy Spirit as it or say anything detrimental against the precious Holy Ghost as Jesus says in Matthew 12:31 and 32.

    (31) WHEREFORE I SAY UNTO YOU, ALL MANNER OF SIN AND BLASPHEMY SHALL BE FORGIVEN UNTO MEN: BUT THE BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN UNTO MEN.

    (32) AND WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH A WORD AGAINST THE SON OF MAN, IT SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM: BUT WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST, IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN HIM, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME".

    Then in John 14:26, Jesus again tells us the Holy Ghost is a personality as Christ says;

    (26) BUT THE COMFORTER, WHICH IS THE HOLY GHOST WHOM THE FATHER WILL SEND IN MY NAME, HE SHALL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, AND BRING ALL THINGS TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE, WHATSOEVER I HAVE SAID UNTO YOU.

Also in Acts 13:1—4 the Bible tells us the Holy Spirit speaks to the assembled congregation and tells them to set aside Paul and Barnabas for a special work He had for them to do. In Acts 13:2 we read:

    (2) AS THEY MINISTERED TO THE LORD, AND FASTED, THE HOLY GHOST SAID: SEPARATE ME BARNABAS AND SAUL FOR THE WORK WHEREUNTO I HAVE CALLED THEM."

    Then Acts 13:4 says;

    (4) SO THEY BEING SENT FORTH BY THE HOLY GHOST DEPARTED UNTO SELEUCIA; AND FROM THERE THEY SAILED TO CYPRUS.

Therefore we can plainly see that the Holy Spirit can prepare a work for us and call us to duty to perform that assignment through His power.

Of course the coming of Christ and the full endowment of power by the Holy Spirit is revealed to us in the New Testament.

However, we should first go to the Old Testament to examine some important factors concerning the first man and woman God created to populate the Human race until the time came for Christ to be born into this world.

God Almighty, the Creator of all creation desired someone He could love, bless, and have fellowship with on a free will basis.

Therefore God said in Genesis 1:26:

    (26) LET US MAKE MAN IN OUR IMAGE AND IN OUR LIKENESS.

Here again we see the plural or three Personalities of God as we notice the words US and OUR in that verse.

These are God’s own words as He converses with the other two Spirit personalities of Himself which was Jesus, the Word of God Spirit and the Holy Spirit Spirit.

Perhaps we can better understand the three personalities of God as we illustrate the three properties of an egg.

The egg is made up of the egg shell, egg yolk, and egg white.

No matter whether they are together or separated, they still retain their egg properties, because they came from just one egg.

This is somewhat like it is with God too, however He is just so infinite, so majestic, and so omnipotent that it is hard for our finite minds to truly comprehend His identity to its fullness.

So God formed Man out of the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life which caused Man to become a living soul. Genesis 2:7.

Adam means clay in the Hebrew language and is pronounced Ah-daum, because he was created from the clay of the earth and he was perfect in every way.

This clearly reveals to us the true origin of Mankind just as it is told to us in the Bible by God Himself through His Holy Word.

The Lord God then planted a wonderful garden east of Eden in which He placed Adam to tend and enjoy.

Accordingly, God created all the animals and fowls of the air, then He allowed Adam to give each and every one of them their own names, such as monkey, dog, eagle and so on as Genesis 2:19 tells us:

    (19) AND OUT OF THE GROUND THE LORD GOD FORMED EVERY BEAST OF THE FIELD, AND EVERY FOWL OF THE AIR; AND BROUGHT THEM UNTO ADAM TO SEE WHAT HE WOULD CALL THEM: AND WHATSOEVER ADAM CALLED EVERY LIVING CREATURE THAT WAS THE NAME THEREOF.

God also provided everything Adam needed including a beautiful wife whom God made from one of Adam’s ribs.

Adam was very excited when he first beheld his lovely wife and later named her Eve, the Mother of all Living. Genesis 2:8—25 and 3:20.

The Holy Creator enjoyed perfect harmony and fellowship with them as He walked and talked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the evening.

But then one day something happened that changed all of this which led to Man’s spiritual separation from God.

WHERE DID THE DEVIL COME FROM?

A long time before Adam existed, God had created all of the angels in Heaven and among these perfectly created angels was one particular arch-angel whose name was Lucifer.

The name Lucifer means Son of the Morning or Light Bearer and this perfect arch-angel was created by God to be especially beautiful, because he was to lead the worship music in Heaven. Isaiah 14:12-20 & Ezekiel 28:13.

Lucifer led the heavenly praise and worship for many eons until there came a point in time when he became proud of his beauty and iniquity or sin was found in him. Ezekiel 28:15

He then decided to gather other angels to join him in an attempt to overthrow God’s Heavenly Kingdom. Ezekiel 28:12-19

    (12) "SON OF MAN, TAKE UP A LAMENT CONCERNING THE KING OF TYRE AND SAY TO HIM: ‘THIS IS WHAT THE SOVEREIGN LORD SAYS: YOU WERE THE MODEL OF PERFECTION, FULL OF WISDOM AND PERFECT IN BEAUTY.
