    l wash my soul

    scrub off the stains

    left hanging on

    and when the sun

    comes out again

    l hang her neatly

    on a line to dry.

    Grace is the wildflower

    blooming on the ledge of hope

    by silent winged forces as of yet

    unknown to man.

    I am

    my best friend

    my worst enemy

    my humblest of servant

    my worst dictator

    my gentle observer

    my destructive self
