Introduction

This book is everyone’s companion. It’s specially designed for those who are very sick at home or on hospital admission, and other categories of people in helpless situations, who got so knocked down by the devil that they have little or no strength left in them, and also lacked the technical know- how to pray their ways into their much needed miracle.

Most people believe that prayer is the only spiritual exercise a person can engage in when in helpless situation and become healed. Painfully too, such prayers are often carried out in a way that is capable of taking life out such individual. Bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come (1 Tim 4:8).

Physical warfare rather than spiritual warfare worsens the health condition of any seriously sick person. Another belief in some quarters is that prayer must be highly audible and compete with noise, with a lot of gymnastic before God will hear and pour His healing and miracle upon his creation. Little did they know that God hears the least whisper and hidden meditation in the heart! I’ve had instances of people who are seriously sick, with such illness compounded by acute anemia and dehydration, being misled into engaging in energy sapping prayers, and untailored fasting, who died in the process!

What is prayer? Prayer is any approved way of communication between self and God, your Creator. There is no gainsaying; God who created the universe is ubiquitous and all knowing. He has the detailed chronicle of every man. Scripture says Christ knew all men and needed no one to testify of man (John 2:25). Most prayers are often done amiss. The most saints on earth fall victim of this. The Bible calls this an infirmity.

If communication is the keyword in prayer, interestingly then, prayer is not limited to opening and closing of the mouth as is the norm. Apostle Paul cited giving as communications which God cherish a lot.

When a man's way pleases God, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him (Prov 16:7). But your principal enemy is Satan, all theft, destructions, and killings in life are orchestrated by him (Acts 10:38). As your way pleases God and deliverance comes into your life, you will enjoy full restoration and possess your possession (Obad 17).

The key to getting from God is doing what pleases God. Unfortunately, what pleases God most times is seen as waste or foolishness to many because it seems unprofitable in the physical.

To get the miracle that will take you out of any problems, God request that you do what would please Him, and not yourself. God will not take you out of your predicament for doing things that pleases you, but because of your concern in pleasing him.

The solution to your problems – ‘Miracle’ – is a derived demand from those things that are within your power to do, pleasing God. What do I mean? One of the keys is giving away some of the treasures that mattered most to you. This is just an insight into this great book, I need to reserve the rest for you to discover as you read on.

Key 1: Activate Composite Forgiveness

The first thing a sick person or anyone in helpless situation must do is to admit his sinful nature, and turn to his Creator for forgiveness. What is forgiveness? Forgiveness is an act of excusing or pardoning another in spite of his slights, shortcomings, and errors.

Forgiveness refers to God's pardon of the sins of human beings. No religious book except the Bible teaches that God completely forgives sin. The initiative comes from Him because He is ready to forgive. He is a God of grace and pardon.

In order for God to forgive sin, the sinner must come to God in a spirit of repentance and faith, and by faith sinners are forgiven. Christ's resurrection was a necessary condition for the forgiveness of man's sins. To be forgiven is to be identified with Christ in His crucifixion and resurrection. Christ has the authority to forgive sins (Matt 1:21).

However, before you ask God to forgive you your sins, God demands that you forgive others first – I called this horizontal forgiveness. If you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First, be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift (Matt 5:23-24).  To do this absolutely, you must browse into your past.

Ask yourself questions that has to do with offences, grudges, malice and hurt you’ve nurtured in the past. Who are those in your black book, including those who offended you whom you forgave but refused to forget what they did to you? Where are they and how can you reach them? All these questions must run speedily through your heart, for they play great role if you must cross the hurdle of unforgivenss.

I know you are fearfully and wonderfully made, you have a very sharp memory and cannot forget your hurts easily, but you’ve got to let go of the pains and let go of the judgment. Ask the Holy Spirit to help bring to your remembrance those that you’ve offended and those who offended you wherein the altar of affliction has been fuelled hindering God’s healing favour upon your life.

I suggest you meet them physically, by phone or ask Holy Spirit to help you for those you can’t remember or connect to, telling them you’ve forgiven them. It‘s also mandatory that you ask those who claimed you’ve offended them to forgive you, by so doing you’ll be able to break every curse of the aggrieved over your life.

Why do you have to go through this forgiving process? It is because that’s the ultimate point to start with if your intent is to receive a miracle from God. Jesus places no limit on the extent to which you’re to forgive your fellowman (Luke 17:4). If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins (Matt 6:14-15).

Now that you’ve purge yourself of every form of unforgiveness, you can now proceed to the second step of forgiveness which I called vertical forgiveness. Search your heart again and talk to God, confess your sins to him and ask him to have mercy upon you and forgive you all your sins. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts (1 John 1:9-10).

Then, I hear Christ say to you, Friend, your sins are forgiven
