#1 The most common form of acid damage is gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, which has more than doubled since 1995. It is not always easy to diagnose, as it can only be seen in patients with throat-based symptoms.

The first step in reversing acid reflux is to understand where acid originates in your food supply. The more processed a food is, the more severely it will exacerbate acid damage. The Acid Watcher Diet is designed to be low-acid, and it eliminates high-acid, processed foods from your diet.

The first phase of the Acid Watcher Diet is the 28-day Healing Phase. It focuses on low-acid foods rich in regenerative phytochemicals that are ideal for repairing damaged esophageal tissue.
