    DEDICATION

Iwant to dedicate this book to a mighty general in the kingdom, an influencer, a go-getter, and an associate who has been very loyal and supportive to my calling and mandate. Ever since our paths crossed, she has always been the person I could turn to during dark and desperate moments. She has sustained me in ways that only few would. She is our International Administrator for our clergy network, the International Council of Clergy USA.

The day she got hold of the manuscript she said to me, Bishop, I want to publish this book for you. Right then and there I heard the Holy Spirit whisper to me, dedicate the book to her.

Therefore, I hereby dedicate this book to Jacqueline McGee in the name of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I want to thank God most of all for this book, without whom this masterpiece would not have been possible.

I want to acknowledge my partner and friend, Holy Spirit, for the insights and inspirations to write. I find it so refreshing to be a channel who has received all this wealth of wisdom and a vessel utilized to pass it along and impact lives.

A special thanks to my spiritual fathers: Archbishop C.S. Johnson in California, USA, and Archbishop Melvin T. Baker in Pennsylvania, USA, for your immense impact and deposit of wisdom, for your fatherhood and mentorship that I receive from you. This book is a testimony of your influence in my life.

Many thanks go to Kimberly Sparrow from Arizona, USA, who sacrificed time going back and forth with me during the conceptualization to ensure that the book stands out and is best comprehended among readers who seek to reap the utmost benefits from this book. Thank you for your keen insight and ongoing support in bringing my work to life. You are such a wonderful team player. I am forever indebted to you.

A special thank you to Allison Theresa from New York, USA, for her editorial and proofreading insights. I appreciate you and thank you for your help. Allison invested time from her busy schedule to work on this book, and now it is complete for the world to benefit from our combined efforts.

I want to specially acknowledge my son in the faith, Reverend Father Abraham with whom I fondly and prophetically call MIGHTY MAN. Without him this book you are reading will never have been a reality. Thank you, my son, for being the manager and publisher of all my books. Many miles to you in Ministry. May you become an AARON to me and your generation.

If you like this book, the credit goes to God Almighty, Archbishop C.S. Johnson, Archbishop Melvin T. Baker, Kimberly Sparrow, Allison Theresa, Jacqueline McGee and Reverend Father Abraham. It is because of your efforts and encouragement that I have a legacy to pass on to this generation and generations unborn.

    Foreword

The Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the Ephesians that his prayer for the saints was That the eyes of their understanding would be enlightened.... Eph. 1:18

In this book, Bishop Emmanuel Komong brings out many of the pitfalls awaiting the men and women of God. The revelation and pin-pointedness of details, with explanations and examples, is refreshing to both see and hear. I believe that this is a timely word from the Lord to those that would have an ear to hear.

Reflecting over my life in the body of Christ and 42 years in ministry, I find that there are pastors carrying too many operational weights unnecessarily. I remember the beginnings of the mega church season with the forming of non-Denominational fellowships. This became a fast-moving model of inspiration for many men and women of my generation.  It was a self-propelling and perpetual motivation throughout the body of Christ. They brought the minds sets of personal independence, lack of submission, low tolerance for teaching, correction, respect and due process.

The positions of fatherhood were strongly promoted and most everyone wanted to be fathers.  The vision was to build the mega church then build satellite or affiliate ministries, creating personal mini-kingdoms.

Many were declaring that the Lord had done a quick work when calling them to the ministry, moving them into positions of attempting to be fathers, yet not having the experience, foundation and training needed to be qualified as a God-called father.

If this is a true working of the Lord, then what do we do with the teaching of the Apostle Paul when he tells Timothy that those desiring to serve as leaders in the ministry CANNOT be a novice? Scripture shows us that contacts and time are so very necessary for the fulfillment of God’s plan in the earth.  Successes and failures come to pass based upon the people that are closest to us and the time spent with these people.
