    Introduction

When I first published this book I didn’t do an introduction. I didn’t even have chapters. The first version of this book was strictly just a list of Gods 613 Laws, Commandments, and Statutes. Now a Law is a Statute and a Statute is a Commandment; these are just synonyms of each other. The number of God's Laws is not precisely 613 laws, some laws are redundant, some statutes can be considered by some to command more than one action or another, making it two or three laws. The point being 613 is an arbitrary number. God never gave us a number of Laws to follow, this is something Man came along later to do when they titled Exodus 20 as the Ten Commandments, even though these exact same Ten Commandments are relisted in Deuteronomy and Leviticus. When God instructed the Israelites to follow his laws, he commanded them to follow the Laws that he gave to Moses commonly referred to as The Laws of Moses, or The Torah, or The Mosaic Laws.

And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel: these are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt, Deuteronomy‬ ‭4:44-45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. ‭‭Malachi‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

and keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: 1 Kings‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So why are we following Gods Laws? Why as a Believer in the Most High God am I seeking out and searching out Gods' Statutes in order to keep them? Well, mainly because God commanded us to follow them:

'Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. ' Deuteronomy 13:4

Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord." Leviticus‬ ‭22:31‬ ‭

    ‬‬

‘Keep all my decrees and all my laws and follow them. I am the Lord.’ ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭19:37‬ ‭

Then you will remember to obey all my commands and will be consecrated to your God. ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭15:40‬ ‭

'Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee." Deuteronomy 6:17

Nevertheless, Do you want eternal life? Do you want to go to Heaven? After all isn't this the whole point and the main foundation of all faiths? To have eternal life. To live forever, because the only thing promised in this life is death. However, then faith comes along and promises you that you can live forever, if you believe in this Most High God and follow his commandments.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This is the same Tree of Life mentioned in Genesis at the Garden of Eden. This tree of life is now available to us if we keep Gods' commandments. Jesus, Yeshua, Yahusha followed this up by saying essentially the same thing when he was asked. What must someone do in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven?

Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life? Why do you ask me about what is good? Jesus replied. There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments." ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:16-17‬ ‭

So we keep the commandments of God, because God instructed us too and additionally by keeping his commandments, it gives us a right to the tree of life, which is eternal life.

Christ Is Our Sacrifice, for Our Sins

Christ Is Our Sacrifice, for Our Sins

Throughout Gods’ Laws (The Laws Of Moses) God gives us the penalty, the punishment and/or penance for Breaking his Commandments. Transgressing Gods Laws is called Sinning.

    What is Sin?

'Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. ' 1 John 3:4

    Sin is breaking Gods laws.

If anyone sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, " Leviticus‬ ‭5:17

Sin is doing what is forbidden and/or against the Lord's Commands. The Lord Our God did allow for the forgiveness of your Sins, some sins. We were allowed to receive redemption for certain laws broken. God listed Repayment Options for breaking his laws. The Repayment Requirement is a Blood Sacrifice for Atonement.

Christ followed the Laws of God:

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." Matthew‬ ‭5:17-18‬ ‭

The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the gospel of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for a single stroke of a pen to drop out of the Law. Luke 16:16-17

If ye love me, keep my commandments. John‬ ‭14:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Christ Chastising Others for Not Keeping the Laws of Moses:

'Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he
