#1 Memory is the fabric of our souls. It allows us to integrate and make sense of the experiences of our bodies, minds, and spirits. It makes us who we are and allows us to keep our loved ones close, even when they are far away.
#2 The current staging guidelines for memory problems are normal, preclinical: no obvious symptoms, but negative changes can be seen on biomarkers such as brain scans. Mild cognitive impairment is when your cognitive functioning is observed by you or your family to be mild, but not severe. Alzheimer’s disease is when your cognitive functioning is observed by you or your family to be severe and getting worse.
#3 The traditional approach to memory problems is misguided, and it leads to unnecessary disease and disability. There are many different causes of memory loss, and it is no longer accurate to talk about mild cognitive impairment or AD as single entities with single causes.
#4 The best way to prevent and even reverse significant memory problems is to identify them early and work to eliminate or treat all the risk factors that may be contributing to them.

#1
Memory is the fabric of our souls. It allows us to integrate and make sense of the experiences of our bodies, minds, and spirits. It makes us who we are and allows us to keep our loved ones close, even when they are far away.
#2
The current staging guidelines for memory problems are normal, preclinical: no obvious symptoms, but negative changes can be seen on biomarkers such as brain scans. Mild cognitive impairment is when your cognitive functioning is observed by you or your family to be mild, but not severe. Alzheimer’s disease is when your cognitive functioning is observed by you or your family to be severe and getting worse.
#3
The traditional approach to memory problems is misguided, and it leads to unnecessary disease and disability. There are many different causes of memory loss, and it is no longer accurate to talk about mild cognitive impairment or AD as single entities with single causes.
#4
The best way to prevent and even reverse significant memory problems is to identify them early and work to eliminate or treat all the risk factors that may be contributing to them.
#5
After the nine-month trial, Steve’s brain scan showed very low blood flow, a sign of future trouble and Alzheimer’s disease. But after he became serious about his self-care, his memory improved and he was hopeful that he could do something about his risk of Alzheimer’s.
#6
Memory Rescue will teach you the most common reasons for memory loss and help you identify the specific factors affecting your brain health. It will then provide you with a step-by-step approach to get your memory back, strengthen it, and keep it healthy for a lifetime.
#7
When we consider uncomfortable topics like death or dementia, human nature often leads us to joke about them. However, if you have trouble remembering things, memory loss is no laughing matter.
#8
The brain is the center of decision making, and it is responsible for producing thoughts, feelings, plans, and behavior. It is the organ that enables you to learn, love, and work, and it is at the center of every decision you make.
#9
The prefrontal cortex is responsible for the success of the human species. It enables us to learn from our mistakes and make plans. When it is healthy, we are organized, goal directed, thoughtful, empathetic, and able to express feelings appropriately.
#10
The temporal lobes are located underneath your temples and behind your eyes. They are involved with encoding memories into long-term storage, as well as mood stability, receptive language, the reading of social cues, and spiritual experience.
#11
The hippocampus is the part of the brain that stores new information and can keep it for several weeks if it is reinforced. If the information is damaged, it can be wiped out each evening when you sleep.
#12
The amygdala, which is in front of the hippocampus, is a key structure that helps you remember emotional responses to what is happening
