DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE magic of horror?  Stephen King says, We make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones.  Our headlines are filled with the reality of terrorists (both the individual and the governmental ones) seeking revenge in all varieties of horrific and technological weapons of war and instruments of torture.  These are the nightmares in real time, and we must still cope with the truthiness of them.  This magazine is merely about fictional horrors, as Mr. King calls them.  We need them to cope with the real ones.
