#2 The Black middle class of America, in Frazier’s view, was a powerless group constantly constructing a world of make-believe to deal with an inferiority complex caused by the brutal history of racial domination in the United States.
#3 The Black middle class is a powerless group constantly constructing a world of make-believe to deal with an inferiority complex caused by the brutal history of racial domination in the United States.
#4 The Black economy myth has been circulating for over fifty years, and it’s always the same: a handful of Black elite businesspeople and media figures sell the idea that if we could only get our collective purchasing power, we could get rid of racism.
