I dedicate this book to all the beautiful people who have been assertive in love, speaking words of wisdom and truth into my life by showing me what the love of Jesus is all about.

I wrote this book especially for my truest treasures in life: My daughters, Tabitha and Tenille, my sons-in-law, Will and Tyrone, my bonus son, Jared, my grandbabies, Shaylee (my Princess) and Ezra (my T-Boom) and for my Dollie Girl (Haley). This is just a small legacy that I pray will not only bless you, but the generations to come. May the Lord bless each of you continually as you walk and grow in this journey called life. We were not created for this world, but we were created for so much more. May you always know how much you are loved, not just by me, but by our Heavenly Father. Keep your eyes forever on Him.

To my husband Mike, for continuing to love me for me. You challenge me in many ways and make me want to be so much better than I am. I love you more than I can ever express.

To my sister Chris, thank you for being at my side and holding my hand during the scary times of childhood. I will always treasure our time and laughter together. You are a child of Christ, and the only shadow you walk in belongs to Him alone. Always remember who you are… Put Giddy Goo away, burn the paracord, and share the love of Jesus with everyone around you.

And finally, to my wonderful prayer partners, Becky, Jan, Nancy, and Darcy, as well as my prayer groups, Saturday Cuppa, Powerful Prayer Warriors, New Life Ladies and my early morning Monday group. Because of your faithful prayers, I can fly on an airplane and sit in a dental chair with a peace that passes all understanding. I also wrote this book as I walk in health, healing, and wholeness, and more importantly, I walk in complete confidence that God’s will is being done in my life because of those faithful prayers.

First and foremost, I have to thank my Heavenly Father for choosing me to be the vessel to write this book and for giving me clarity of mind to write the message He desired me to share with everyone reading this book. Thank You, Father, for qualifying the unqualified to do great and mighty things that would have never been possible without You. You have taken what the enemy meant for evil and have turned it for good. I am honored to be called Your child. Thank You for never leaving me or forsaking me throughout my life.

To my husband: Lovie, never once did you doubt my ability to write this book. You have been so gracious in giving me the space to ponder my thoughts even into the late hours of the night that, at times, moved into the early mornings. You sacrificed our time together so that I could write without interruptions. But most of all, thank you for your patience during my times of irritability when writing the hard stuff. It was not so easy. I am thankful God has united us in this marriage and continues to be the center of our lives. I love you!

To my beautiful daughters, Tabitha and Tenille, you are both a big part of who I am today, and if I was not who I am today, I do not believe God would have chosen me to write this very book. I don’t even know where to begin to tell you how thankful I am for all you have done to encourage and help me grow. Throughout all the challenges we have endured through this life together, you both have spoken truth and honesty into my life. There have been many times where the two of you stepped up to parent this mama, showing me what love really looks like. I am a better version of myself because of the two of you reminding me of who I am and who I desire to be in Christ. The love we share is priceless, and I am thankful for God using both of you in my life for this very moment.

To my bonus son, Jared, I don’t even know how to thank you for all your hard work that you put into editing this book. But most of all, I have to say thank you for knowing me so well and allowing the Holy Spirit to use you to help interpret my thoughts so that I could share them in this book. Your encouragement during this time has been priceless. Every time I had a doubt, you set me straight, reminding me that I do hear from God, and that if this is what God told me to do, then I need to let God do the work and trust in Him. I am thankful God has put you into our lives to be a part of our family, and I am so proud to call you my bonus son. Always remember to be kind to yourself and to see yourself for who you really are, the way God sees you and the way we see you. Do not be deceived, you are a man of God with a heart full of love, compassion, and truth. You are who He intended you to be. A special thanks to your mom and dad for raising such an amazing young man and sharing you with us. I love you all!
