Well to be honest, this book originally started out as a prayer journal, but through much prayer and nudging of the Holy Spirit, I felt that God was pulling me in a different direction to help give people a practical, down to earth, back to basic understanding of His promises. Because people nowadays seem to be out of touch with God and it is my hope that this book will help put them back on the righteous path.

This book doesn’t assume any experience of reading the Bible. The goal here is not to transmit historical knowledge or textual insight, just basic understanding. It’s designed for people reading that are new believers, those who are unsure and thinking about it, those who may have lost their way and even those faithful believers who simply need a refresher on Gods promises.

It is also not a devotional although it can be used as one but seeks to offer a basic understanding of God and some of His promises throughout a 15-day journey. The mission of this book is evangelical. It is meant to introduce a basic unveiling of Gods characteristics throughout each promise and selected scriptural verses, leading all readers to a life-changing encounter with Him.

In this world we live in there is nothing more certain than death". However, if you lean on God’s promises you can be certain of your eternal salvation.

Having a thankful heart can change your entire perspective and outlook on life. One of the best ways to experience the power of thanksgiving is through prayer. Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic - with job loss, sickness and personal loss, we can experience blessings. When we offer a prayer of thanks to God, our focus shifts from our problems to our blessings. And that's the beauty of faith - we can experience gratitude and give thanks despite the circumstances and storms that surround us. (biblestudytools)

We are given many choices and opportunities each and every day to give God thanks. We should be expressing our gratitude daily for His love and faithfulness by helping us overcome the storms and turmoil in our lives.
