It was a sunny Saturday morning in a faraway forest. Three bunny brothers had just woken up when their Mom entered the room.

het Ma gesê. Ek het julle hoor rondbeweeg hier binne.
Good morning, boys,
Mom said. I heard you moving around in here.
Vandag is Saterdag, ons kan so laat slaap as wat ons wil,
het die middelste boetie met 'n glimlag gesê.
Today is Saturday, we can sleep as late as we want,
said the middle brother with a smile.
