MISSING BACKGROUND CHECK

Private Investigator Amelia Pinkie had had many strange things happen to her in her decade long career as an Investigator, but this was just strange.

Amelia stretched her aching bones as she had stupidly been hunched over her laptop on her modern white desk for far too long, so she decided to take a break.

Amelia closed her laptop and simply focused on the bright white walls of her spacious office that always made her feel good, because this office cost far too much money in her opinion, but at least she had something that symbolised how good of a Private Investigator she was.

The air smelt wonderful of strong battery acid-like coffee that Amelia just loved because of its strong bitter burn. Particularly this morning, she just needed that burning sensation to help her run through all these background checks that too many clients had sent her.
