About this ebook

The collection begins with "Snowmaggedon Igloo Competition". On the island of Otashu, Snomaggedon is the most anticipated holiday of the year. The most popular activity of the day is the Igloo competition. Phoenix has waited countless years to be able to participate but when she learns the qualifications for entering the competition, things turn south quick.

In "Crewdson”, Maria Rose has a beautiful locket that she has always cherished. It was passed down from generation to generation. What she doesn't know is that the locket holds valuable secrets. When she gets kidnapped by the head gang leader on the block, it becomes a life or death situation that she's not sure she can escape from.

"Mind Games" features a young cybernetic girl named Khalessi who escapes from a high tech facility run by the government. When she realizes she was a test subject for a global mind control project, she rallies up friends to help take them down.

The last story "Midnight Hour" is told from the perspective of Ansley, a young kid, who wants to live his dream to witnesses a historical event. Ansley stays up past his bed time to see a midnight rocket launch. He knows that his parents would never allow this under any circumstance but he is willing to risk anything just for a glimmer of happiness.

Thank you to my friends and family who as always supported me in every decision that I’ve ever made. To my mom and dad, I love and appreciate everything you’ve done to since birth to ensure my growth and get me to this point in my life. I am forever grateful for all of your hard work and sacrifices throughout the years.

To Stephen, You’ve never given up on me or lost faith in me even when I did. You’ve always encouraged me and pushed me to be the best I can and always believed in my dreams. You’ve continually worked hard to give me everything I needed to succeed, whether it was physical materials or just being my beacon for emotional support.
