About this ebook

A voice called my name. It took me three or four times to realize someone or something was calling out to me. I finally realized someone was calling to get my attention and asked, "Are you talking to me?" He responded and began speaking to me; I could not believe it.

"Can I ask a question?" He was waiting for me to ask, He said. Now I am in complete shock. I have now realized I died and now talking with God or Jesus Christ.

I was then given three instructions: to learn forgiveness; find out what is causing my anger (I was told it was medical in nature); and to write, talk, preach, teach, a video, a book.

I'm like "What?"

I asked if this was God or Jesus whom I was speaking or communicating with. He said, "I am who you think I am!"

God told me to "give Him my 100 percent faith, sit back and watch what He can do!"

God Himself spoke through prophets, priests, kings, and ordinary men and women over the centuries. It began in the fourteenth century BC with Moses, when God wrote the Ten Commandments on stone tablets and gave them to him.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible which are called The Law of Moses or The Torah. Moses gives us the history of the world from creation to the formation of the Jewish nation, from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Moses tells us how the Israelites were set free by God from Egypt where they had lived as slaves. The first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy set the foundation to the rest of the Bible. Joshua tells of how he took over as leader of the nation of Israel after Moses died and led the Israelites into the promised land. He then established the nation of Israel. This is the center of God’s plan for our salvation and for Jesus’s future kingdom.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)

Though the Bible was written by men, God Almighty inspired the Holy Scripture so that they were saying what God wanted to say to us through them. It is a collection of sixty-six books written over two thousand years by forty authors. They came from three continents and wrote about history and prophecy and through their own personal experiences. The Bible is basically written by God Himself, as it is His own Word to us. Everything in it is true and not just men’s opinions. It is the truth told to us by God Himself. It is divided into the Old and New Testaments. The thirty-nine books of the Old Testament reveal there is only one God who covenanted to bring His knowledge to others and for our redemption from sin by His Son to the ends of the earth. This continues into the twenty-seven books—letters, history, and testimonies emerging after the life, death, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus of Nazareth. Over time, from AD 33 until AD 80, the Holy Spirit spoke out His Word in the New Testament written by nine authors. Among the authors used by God were some that walked with Jesus which would include Matthew, Peter, and John. The New Testament can be separated into the Gospels and Epistles. Paul wrote most of the Epistles.

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:31)

    The Lord’s Prayer

I Died, God Spoke is dedicated to my sister, Laurene, and my General Practitioner, Roland K. Sanchez, MD of Belen, New Mexico.

Laurene, may you have earned your wings and received the hug you longed for, again. I’m sure you’re having a wonderful time in Heaven. Thank you for putting up with my crap the entire time you have known me. Something no one else could have handled.

Dr. Sanchez led me to one of the roots of my health issues. He was straight forward and always incredibly supportive in generating referrals in bettering my health. Thank you for believing my ailments and guiding me to specialists for clarification. I will always be grateful for your caring spirit and wonderful bedside manner. A truly dedicated physician! May this book be a tribute of your dedication to your profession. RIP Dr. Roland.

I am forever grateful and blessed to have such company on this journey. Love you guys.

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

    Matthew 6:9–13

    God: Our Redeemer, Savior, Healer

For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth; And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, That in my flesh I shall see God, Whom I shall see for myself, And my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! —Job 19:25–27

My transformation into being a Christian is not just one or two events that I experienced, it’s the bigger picture of what I am going through. It’s not just the two experiences that has opened my eyes to God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, but all the things together that have happened. And though the experiences are difficult for one to believe, they are the facts as they have happened. God is having me write this for others to understand there is a heaven and there is nothing to fear when leaving this earth. To understand this, there is a biblical understanding that must be understood by the believer. I believe what I have experienced is real.

Another thing about this book or my story of what God has done through my life and the trials and tribulations in which I thought were nightmares these last few years, has actually or is going to be all for the good in many ways. All this is not just for me, but for everyone. This is not about me, but what God has done through me, it is His story! It is about what He can do and will do and has done, again and again, for all of us. Throughout the ages of man. It is a story of His amazing grace and mercy and how He loves us so! I have finally understood that all things are for the good, no matter what has happened in our lives. It is about giving God praise and glory for He already controls our lives. It’s what we do with our lives that matters to Him.

There is a lot of change that one goes through being a child of God and understanding that you are a new person and having been given a new life, a life in Christ Jesus. One of the hardest things for me was the acceptance of being made righteous, of being justified, having been given salvation, there is no more condemnation, the status of being blessed and so much more. It is very humbling to say the least.

For if by the one man’s (Adam) offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s (Jesus Christ) righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover, the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:17–21)

One becomes righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ. This is something that is needed to be fully understood and grasped by the sinner. All our sins, past and present and future are covered by the blood of Jesus. No matter what it is you have done in your life. We are righteous if you believe in the Son.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence. (Ephesians 1:3–8)

We are now a new creation having the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. The old us were full of sinful thoughts and desires, we were a sinner. We are now made strong where we were once weak. We now have a new life, having been given a life in Christ.

God promises us His protection in this uncertain world. He gives us protection from everything that is harmful to us; from any trap one snarls for us to fall into to every sort of temptation or deadly diseases and everything that threatens our life. He is always there for us. And waiting for us to call out to Him.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Surely, he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in the darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. (Psalm 91:1–6)

All sickness is the result of sin. Some sickness is the result of specific sins. Jesus healed all those that were brought to Him. Our diet and other things we do to defile our bodies is also sin. Had there been no sin in the world, there would have been no sickness. Not taking proper care of the body is also considered a sin. God wants us to take care of our bodies, our temple of the Holy Spirit. The body belongs to God, where it was bought with a price. Overeating, overworking, and a lack of sleep and exercise are also sinning against the body. Jesus has a desire to heal all of us through His promise of total healing made through His wounds.

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Beware therefore, lest what has spoken in the prophets come upon you: Behold, you despisers, Marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, A work which you will by no means believe, though one were to declare it to you. (Acts 13:38–41)

God looks to use His children for His glory. Satan knows that if you have experienced the grace of God, you can overcome anything you come across. Satan tries to take the condemnation that he has experienced and inflict it onto the children of God. He knows our weaknesses and will attack those areas in our life. He will condemn us for all our failures and keep shaming us for our weaknesses. The condemnation can come from others attacking us, or we can be the ones condemning others and one of the worst things for us would be our self-condemnation. This is where we are condemning ourselves for things we are feeling guilty about something or feel like a failure in something we did or did not do or any number of things in which the devil can condemn us for something, as he is waiting to destroy us. We cannot keep beating ourselves up with not being perfect enough or good enough.

We need to learn to have more patience with others and with ourselves in order to have that inner peace we long for with God through Christ Jesus. One must receive God’s grace in order to become patient with oneself and with others. We need to see others as God sees us, by removing the lens of condemnation and see us through the lens of love and grace.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men. For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. (Titus 3:1–8)

God loves you. God loves me. God loves everyone! Nothing can separate us from God’s love for those of us in Christ Jesus our Lord. Some can become separated from God’s love, and this will happen through death, unrepentant sin and false worship of idols. This does not mean that God will not love us, for God IS LOVE (1 John 4:8). He has loved us as sinners and even loves those that have rejected Him. Jesus Christ is the grace of God for all mankind.

Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all his commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 28:1–2)

    On the other hand:

But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you." (Deuteronomy 28:15)
