We Must Travel - Anita Riddle
Press On
December 29, 2004
The road is lonely, but we must travel. As Noah and his family waited for dry land, sand, or even gravel, I can imagine that the days were long and nights even longer. Alone, they were the only existence on earth, but as time passed on God made them stronger.
When you obey God and separate yourself unto Him, it seems as though you’re by yourself. But you must stay your course as every good Christian and know that God will send His help.
Out of all of Jesus’s brothers and sisters, He had to stand the test, because there was a mandate upon His life and He was chosen among the rest.
The road got lonely for Him as well; He had to die on Calvary by Himself to keep our souls from hell.
So we must hold on until our change comes and stay committed unto the Lord. And as we remain steadfast and perseverant, we will surely gain our just reward.
