    Introduction

Hello, brethren! Whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is my brother and sister! (Matthew 12:50).

I’ve come to have known many brethren over the years and have been with many religious communities and shared very interesting and inspiring learning sessions and will refer to many brethren by their first name as those I remember.

I will refer to God as my Father because he’s my Father, your Father, and our Father; every person born has his essence of life and will explain later.

    Chapter 1

    The Beginning

First the word age and its meaning. Age is similar to an era, a period of time, and its chronological system also characterized by particular circumstances, events, or personages.

This book covers the biblical age, the spiritual battle between God’s church versus the counterfeit church. The Scriptures are God’s inspired words. In effect, he’s talking to us. Let’s listen to him with an open mind and heart, for he is the Truth and the Way.

    Foundational Beginning

You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God the heavenly Jerusalem to an innumerable company of angels (Hebrews 12:22).

Note: The age begins when God created three archangels—Michael, Gabriel, and Heylel. Heylel means Morning Star. The Latin version is Lucifer, and his name was changed to Satan, which means adversary and enemy. He’s our Father’s adversary and our enemy!

    Continuing with Father’s Words

You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity [spiritual lawlessness] was found in you. You became filled with violence within and you sinned [sin, transgression of God’s spiritual laws]; therefore I cast [thrown violently] you as a profane thing [serpent] out of the mountain of God and I destroyed you [changed status; stature, demoted]. O covering cherub archangel. (Ezekiel 28:15–16)

Note: Who was established on earth as God of this world?

Continuing with 2 Corinthians 4:4, it states, Whose minds the God of this age has blinded who do not believe. Also, Revelations 12:9 says, …who deceives the whole world. Ephesians 2:2 also states (Satan demoted to prince of the power of air): …you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.

The Prophet Isaiah has this to say about Satan:

How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning star how you are cut down to the ground [earth] you who weakened the Nations.

For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will also sit on the mount of the congregation. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High. (Isaiah 14:12–14)

    The War in Heaven

And war broke out in heaven Michael and his angels fought against the dragon [Satan] and his angels [who would become known as demons] but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out that serpent of old called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world, he was cast to the earth and his angels. (Revelation 12: 7–9)

And the Lord said, I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven (Luke 10:18).

    Chapter 2

    Sherlock Homes and His Detectives

I’m sure this seems like a strange title, but he was considered one of the best fictional detectives of all time, my personal choice, of course.

Father tells us this, My thoughts are not your thoughts (Isaiah 55:8).

First Corinthians 2:9 says, Search the deeper things of God.

I’ve been taking on the role of Sherlock Homes all my life. I need to know God and all that I can learn of his truth. I’ve been blessed over the years that God brought me in contact with other fellow detectives who loved to search the truth as I did. Together, we will take case by case to reveal the truth about the age. First I need to share some very important study guides.

One: The Scriptures are not in chronological order compare Genesis 1:1 which says, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth with John 1:1: In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God. One can see that John 1:1 would be considered first in order. Also, Job is the oldest book and therefore the first book written.

Two: Knowing this, we need to piece together each Scripture as a clue to the subject we are studying to get understanding. I always thought of it this way:

Each clue is like a piece of a puzzle, and once you get them all together, we get the picture; and a picture is, as they say, worth a thousand words.

Three: the Lord tells us in Luke 11:52 to use the key of knowledge, also rendered key of understanding. Knowing what this key is and how to use it unlocks our Father’s thoughts, so we now get a clear understanding of his teachings and truths.

What is this key? It’s a word, paraphrase; the act of using this key is called paraphrasing. Paraphrasing is changing a word to another word, but both words must mean the same thing.

    Here are two examples:

I am the light [truth] of the world he who follows me shall not walk in darkness [ignorance or lack of understanding] but will have the light (truth) of life (John 8:12).

We can see how these two keywords give us a better understanding of what
