    What Will You Do?

I want to dedicate this book to my wife of forty-four years, my children, grandchildren, and my church family. They have given me many more reasons to continue my work for the Lord. Without the Lord, nothing would be possible for me. He has walked with me, talked with me, and directed my steps many times. He is my waymaker, my strength, my healer, my Lord, and soon coming King. This book is a faith-based book that I am sure will increase your faith. My prayer is that this book will help bring in the lost and be a blessing, encouragement, and enlightenment to all who read this book. May God bless you all.

    Chapter 1

    A Voice of Faith

The Shunammite woman’s son had died, and she ran to the man of God, Elisha. Elisha’s servant ran out to meet her and said unto her, Is it well with thee? Is it well with thy husband? Is it well with the child? And she answered, it is well (2 Kings 4:26). The voice of faith speaking; although her son was dead, she knew God had given her this son; and by faith, she declared it is well, knowing by faith that God would resurrect her son. God is a faithful God, and whatever He speaks or promises in His Word will come to pass.

Through faith in God and the voice of faith, we calleth those things which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). We must have enough faith in God so that we will be unafraid to speak God’s Word with the voice of faith. Elijah had a word from the Lord; and he spoke with a voice of faith. There shall not be dew nor rain, these years, but according to my word (1 Kings 17:1). Then God showed his servant a little cloud like a man’s hand, and he spoke with the voice of faith.

Go up, say unto Ahab, prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. It came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain (1 Kings 18:44–45). The Bible tells us; Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are. When we pray and believe knowing we have touched the Lord, we should not be afraid to speak with the voice of faith: I will recover.

By whose stripes ye were healed (1 Peter 2:24). Jesus said, [Peter], go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money (Matthew 17:27). Jesus was in the flesh being led by the Spirit of God. God’s faith works by believing; and confessing with the voice of faith.

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). We must believe in our hearts and speak God’s Word with the voice of faith; God will never fail you if you believe. We must speak to our mountains in life with the voice of faith, knowing God will move the mountains.

The Message from the Burning Bush

And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt (Exodus 3:2–3). This is a mighty great visitation from God to man, the fire of God appearing to man.

Moses turned aside to see this great sight, and God spoke to him. And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses, and he said, here am I (Exodus 3:4). Moses received his call from God from the message from the burning bush. And he said, draw not nigh hither; put of thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground (Exodus 3:5).

We know that if God can sanctify the ground where Moses stood, He can sanctify a human heart and soul. Moreover, he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. When God called Moses, he tried to make some excuses; but God kept calling.

And Moses said unto God, behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, the God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say unto me, what is his name? And God said unto Moses, I am that I am, and he said, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I am hath sent me unto you (Exodus 3:13–14). I am slow of speech, and slow of tongue. And the Lord said unto him, who hath made man’s mouth (Exodus 4:10–11)?

God confirmed His Words with signs to Moses when he went before Pharaoh. And the Lord said furthermore unto him, put now thine hand into thy bossom. And he put his hand into his bosom; and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow. And he said, put thine hand into thy bosom again; and he plucked it out of his bosom and behold, it was turned again as his other flesh (Exodus 4:6–7).

God was going to use Moses to lead three or four million people, and there is so much in the message from the burning bush. The sacrifice of Abraham was in the message of the burning bush. The death angel was coming, and the Lord instructed Moses on what to do. Kill a lamb, eat the lamb’s body, and place the blood on the door post, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you (Exodus 12:13). The psalmist said, He brought them forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes (Psalm 105:37).

They were not feeble because they ate the lamb’s body. If we will discern that, divine healing comes through Jesus, our lamb’s body; God will heal us and give us strength. The message from the burning bush: I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). Pentecost is our burning bush; we received the same fire from God. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them (Acts 2:3). John the Baptist told of our coming fire. "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance; but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I
