    He Who Believes

    John 16:13

Howbeit when he; the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear that shall he speak: and he shew you things to come.

    Mark 16:16–18

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

    John 3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

    John 3:5

Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

    John 3:7

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again, (or from above).

    John 4:24

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

    Acts 10:44–48

While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And as they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord, Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

We as true believers must believe what God tells us to do. We should trust God’s Word with all our heart, mind, soul, and body. Let us live as the Lord Jesus commands us to live. His Spirit is in our heart to help us, to guide and show us the way. So let us yield to the Spirit of truth and let God’s Word rule in our hearts. We must renew our minds with the Word of God to please our Heavenly Father. And to live as Jesus did, the way God intended us to live. His Word is the way. His Spirit will guide us up the road leading up to our Heavenly Father. Not my will, but Your will be done, as it is in heaven. God’s will for us is to believe in his Son Jesus, and we will become all that God has created us to become from the beginning. Hear the Word of God and do what Jesus said to do. Amen.

    Luke 8:21

And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father, which is inheaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

    John 8:31–32

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

    Matthew 22:37–40

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

    Mark 12:29–31

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

    Matthew 10:32–39

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

    John 11:25–26

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believed in me, though he were dead, yet shall believe; And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

    Mark 7:6–16

He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of your hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death: But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. And ye suffer him no more to do aught for his father or his mother; Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand: There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out him, those are they that defile the man.

If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

    Luke 16:15–16

And he said unto them, ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. The law and the prophets were until John; since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth unto it.

    Matthew 5:13–16

Ye are the salt of the earth; but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden underfoot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

    Matthew 5:38–48

Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee and from him that would borrow of thee turn not
