About the Author
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Preface
Sermons on the Mountain was written and navigated by that continuing urge that kept resurfacing in the back of my mind. It's like a series of testimonies revealing my personal walk through life!
If the truth be told, I wasn't saved all my life! For I have many skeletons in my closet as you will read. And I believe Sermons on the Mountain will attract millions of curious readers.
Nonetheless, each aspect or episode of this book was written in the old-fashioned way, with pen and paper.
Navigated—solely! From that urgent desire of my crying out my life struggle. How sin got a hold of my life!
Come with me now as we witness some of these self-told sermonettes I call Sermons on the Mountain.
Foreword
My personal testimony began while I was still a young man. I navigated them firsthand through an open acknowledgment of my experiences by way of a series of sermonettes!
I wasn't fortunate enough to attend any four-year school of theology, and I don't have any dignitary titles such as reverend or pastor before my name. The following revelations were revealed to me in a monologue fashion—addressed to a sinner man!
And I heard a voice say, Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world!
And my Bible tells me that Jesus said, Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Chapter 1
The small storefront church that recently moved into the neighborhood was my first experience with any kind of religion.
It was on a hot July Friday evening. When I inquisitively entered this church, inside, I saw a group of people gathered, singing and worshipping!
As I took a seat in the rear row, I noticed this old lady who stood about four feet tall. She was testifying, speaking about how fire shot up in her bones and how it was motivating her soul! Although she was a small figure of a woman, her voice sounded voluminously loud. She yelled, When I first found Jesus!
Then I heard her say, No, no! That's a lie because my Jesus was never lost!
She then rephrased her statement, "When my Jesus first found me, I
