About this ebook

Prayer, power, and confession tear down strongholds. The message in this book is designed to clarify the misconceptions of many Christians about the vicious battle waged against their soul. All Christians should be informed after salvation, then what? Many have turned back because they were expecting things to be better. But think again, not only are you fighting Satan, but also your will to choose. Paul tells us, "The flesh wars against the Spirit." We are fighting with our old man, our own flesh, which we received at birth. We were given a will to choose God! Therefore, we must learn how to cast down reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and leading captive every thought unto the obedience of His Word. This requires as stated in Ephesians 6:10-18 putting on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand firm against the wiles of the devil. Without the truth of God's word, it's impossible. We must learn to eat God's words until they are formed in our hearts; in doing, it will crucify our old man.

The Evil Within - Apostle Omedaur Adams

Created in the Image of God

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7 KJV).

Every Christian has the conscious experience of two natures (good and evil)—they know that like Paul says, When I think to do good, evil is always present. But sadly to say, very few Christians do not understand why the evil exists in them. They think it is Satan coming against them or they have fallen from grace. They believe nothing about the doctrine of the two natures that are within them. They haven’t been taught about the old man and the new man—the two natures that are abiding in them. They have not been taught about what the word of God says concerning Satan, our will, the fleshly nature versus the Spirit of God and the Word of God.

God said, My people are destroyed because of the lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). They know the two natures are there, the good and the evil always present; but lack knowledge on what the Bible teaches about who they are, and what they should do. This is the cause of much distress and disappointment in the lives of many born-again believers, and the falling away from the truth of God’s Word toward them.

Do you remember when you became a newborn babe in Christ? You rejoiced in your newfound life in Christ. You wanted everyone to be saved and experience the joy you experienced of your salvation. You began to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you were so proud of being born again. It felt so good to be free to be in the light and no longer be in darkness. Everything was going so well, and your life was so sweet; and you had a song in your heart and praises on your lips to the God of your salvation. Then all of a sudden, Satan comes and says to you with a question, Are you really saved?

You can be sure he will always pose a question for you to doubt. At one point you must learn to begin to resist him. He will keep on at feeding you with doubt and unbelief. He will continue his tactics, and his scheme is to cause you to doubt God’s Word. If you don’t take God’s Word, and begin to fight the good fight of faith and resist him, you will begin to listen to his lies instead of using God’s Word against him:

There is therefore, now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1–2)

He that hears God’s word, and believes on Him (Jesus) God’s Son, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24)

    You are dead in Christ,
