Foreword

I considered it a privilege to write the foreword for this book, Loving Two Men by Vickie Joyner. I am so excited to have been a part of this great assignment. Vickie and I were class mates, graduated from the same high school, born in the same year, and birthdays are in the same month. Although, we both were in the ministry and even sang in the same community choir, it took a turn of events to bring our lives together for such a time as this. Now, we have joined forces to tear the kingdom of darkness down.

Vickie is a remarkable woman of God. Not knowing until I read her book, did I understand why there is such a fiery passion every time she stands before you to speak, to sing and especially when she preaches the Gospel. It all stemmed from the trials she had endured, and the victories that she has won. She reveals everything in her writings of Loving Two Men. Opening up intimate parts of your life isn’t always easy, but when God tells you that it’s time to let the world know what and how it happened, then the only response is Yes LORD to Your will and to Your Way. I think that it is important in these times that we are living, to let the world know that God is Good even when things don’t go the way you thought that they would.

In Loving Two Men, Vickie introduces one of the loves of her life in a way that many have yet to experience. It is because of this encounter Vickie grew into being a woman that is fervent in spirit, empowered and determined to accomplish everything her hands have been assigned to do. Her life experiences have enabled her to build God’s people, causing them to walk in their divine destiny. She has the God-gifted ability to pastor, with revelation knowledge to strengthen the Body of Christ. This book will let you see a woman who deeply loves God and God’s people. The struggles she faced only gave her the drive and the momentum to keep moving forward.

We all have a story to tell. Vickie has a way of expressing her love story in a way that will bring a calm assurance that you are never alone. Everyone that has experienced the loss of someone they love deeply, can now know that you can continue because there is one that will be with you every step of
