About this ebook

Adam was the first of a creation of occupying agents of heaven in the world. He was given this mission and access to all the authority, wisdom, and power of heaven to accomplish it. But he failed. He made a choice to go his own way and follow God’s enemy. His spiritual connection to God was dissolved after that; and the access he had to heaven’s authority, wisdom, and power dissolved with it. Jesus Christ, the Son of God would have to come. He would satisfy the sin debt owed by mankind to God and restore to man the possibility of that same heavenly potential that God had placed in that first man, Adam.

We are not called to mediocre lives but lives of greatness that stand out and distinguish us from others. If you look around you and don’t see a vast difference between you and those around you, if you are struggling and you are saved, something is missing. We are to be “living epistles read of men” (2 Corinthians 3:1–3) and “as he is, so are we like him in this world” (1 John 4:17).

If I were to meet you for the first time today, would your life be demonstrating the blessing and promises of God? Are you on the path to receiving those things with God right now? If not, you have been missing a critical teaching from the Word of God.

If you are saved and settled, this book is for you. As children of a creator God, we should always be productive. The devil has robbed many of us even the desire to grow, and we don’t even know it. We should be growing in all of the promises and the provision of God at all times. Settling down into complacency was never part of God’s plan. You and I should be carrying out the work of God with confidence and knocking down every obstacle to that end daily. I can prove it, and I can show you how to achieve it in your own life.

    Chapter 1

The Origin of Man and His Home

Then God said, Let us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in our image, according to our likeness (not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness); and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over Everything that creeps and crawls upon the earth.

So, God created man in his own image, in the image and likeness of God he created him; male and female he created them.

And God blessed them (granting them certain authority) and said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it (putting it under your power); and rule over (dominate) the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and Every living thing that moves upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26–28 Amplified)

    Now in the message translation,

God spoke, Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature; so they can be responsible for the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and, yes, earth itself, and Every animal that moves upon the face of the earth.

God created human beings; he created them Godlike, reflecting God’s nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: Prosper! Reproduce! Fill earth! Take charge! Be responsible for the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, for Every living thing that moves on the face of the earth. (Genesis 1:26–28)

God creates mankind with a specific agenda. He desires a place of beauty and plenty for them to live in his presence. It will be their home. Man has authority over this place, and he is to reproduce, filling the earth with people after their own kind.

These people are to reflect the nature of God; they love what he loves, they do what he does, they say what he says and obey his laws. Adam, the first man, was to teach all mankind after him to be responsible for the world that had been given to him. He was to take charge, keeping order and control of all the living creatures he would encounter in the garden. He would have to start by teaching Eve to do the same. He would operate in a similar manner to God, but God had sovereign authority over him.

Then the Lord God formed (that is, created the body of) man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being (an individual complete in body and spirit). (Genesis 2:7 Amplified)

Once formed out of the dust of the ground, the first man existed, but only as a body. It wasn’t until God breathed the breath of life into him that he came alive.

The Word of God explains God as a three-part being: God the Father, Jesus the Son of God, and the Holy Spirit. It is written in Matthew 28:19 (Amplified), Go therefore and make disciples of all nations [help the people to learn of me, believe in me, and obey my words], baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Humankind, being made after his image and likeness, likewise are three-part entities: spirit, connects us to God; soul, connected to the body or flesh; and the body, connects us to earth.

For all those who are led by the spirit of God are the children (or sons) of God. (Romans 8:14 Expanded)

As children or sons of God, we were to emulate him in this world that we have been given. Expanding Eden throughout the world, overcoming any resistance we might encounter along the way. We had been given dominion, and we would have to exercise it whenever necessary.

Men are not a result of a mistaken confluence of cells that climbed out of a primordial ooze, as some scientists claim. They are the purposeful creation of a creator, God. All things were made with a purpose, and mankind is no different. The first task of the created thing was to multiply and fill the earth; therefore, woman was created shortly after man, and the mankind was born.

The material used in our creation may be very similar in some cases to other life, genetically speaking; but as a complete creation, we have no similarity to the life around us. This world was created for us to interact with and enjoy and to rule over; but mankind has singular superiority over the rest of creation.

(Genesis 1:26 Amplified)

It is not said, of any other created thing that it is made in the image and likeness of God to rule, only mankind. Wherever you were born, however you grew up, and whatever you have been told, that is true for you. It’s true for all people.

God created us not to be like him but like him.

The first man was not dropped down into the world to learn to fend for himself. He was not an infant or a child. He was an adult who already possessed the ability to carry out his mission in the world. When God gave him his assignment to rule over the world that had been created for him, he was fully equipped to do it.

The only thing he knew was God, and God was his example. He didn’t have to be taught about faith and how it worked. He had creative power in him because he was made to speak. The only thing he knew to speak would be the words he had heard up to that point, which would have been God’s words.

Before God created any life, he created a home for that life. The earth had lands and waters and skies that would hold all animal and plant life. All these were presupplied for people before people were ever created. God is a God of order, not chaos. Planning goes into his work, and nothing is left to chance. Not one step was skipped or forgotten, and he didn’t scrap the whole thing and have to start over before he got it right. God’s plan for men and their future offspring was complete and perfect the first time, and it still is.

In Genesis, God has transformed the world completely, revitalized it and filled it with life. Where it was void and lifeless in verse one, God brings light and darkness, creating the first day. His words have creative power in them, and he speaks into existence the heavens, the land, and the seas. Then he sets about to bring plants and birds and beasts and every living thing alive, male and female so they can proceed to multiply after themselves and fill the earth. All of this was prepared for the man he would soon create.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

And God said, Let there be light, and there was light.

And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.

God called the light day and he called the darkness night. And there was Evening and morning the first day.

And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.

And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.

And God called the expanse heaven. And there was Evening and there was morning the second day.

And God said, "Let the waters under
